I woke up to the smell of pancakes and bacon filling the house. I got out of bed and brushed my teeth before heading downstairs to see who was cooking.
"What's this? Out of an eight-year friendship, I have only seen you make cereal," I said, pulling out a chair and sitting in front of the counter.
"I didn't want cereal, so I facetimed mom and she talked me through it." He handed me a plate with food on it and sat down in front of me. "I will never cook again, though. That was torture."
"Oh my gosh Dani, you're such a wimp. What's next, are the backyardagains going to give you nightmares?"
"Whatever."
We ate our food and I washed the dishes once we were done. All of the other boys had went shopping, so it was just me and Daniel for a while.
"Do you want to go do something later?" Daniel asked, handing me a towel.
"Like what?" I dried my hands off before turning around and leaning on the counter.
"Well, if you do want to go, I know a place."
"And where would this place be?"
"It's a surprise."
"Sometimes I hate you, Daniel James Seavey, but yeah, let's do it."
"Great, what time?"
"I have to go home. Christina is surprising Corbyn and coming a few days early, and she's staying at my house with me and Nadia. She is actually in an Uber on her way to my house right now, so I better get going."
"Alright, I'll pick you up later."
"Okay. Don't tell Corbyn! Nadia is going to bring her over later, after the boys come back from shopping."
"Okay, see you later."
"Bye."
-
"Christina, this child is stressing me out so much!"
"What did one of the boys do now?"
"Me and Daniel are hanging out later, but he won't tell me where. And it is making me nervous because I hate surprises and he knows that."
"Okay, text him and ask for some sort of idea so you know how to dress and what to bring," Christina said, walking over to my closet. I grabbed my phone off of my night stand and texted Daniel.

Kourtney💍: What do I need to bring for later?
Daniel🤓: Just wear tennis shoes and wear a swimsuit underneath your clothes.

"Swimsuit and tennis shoes, this cant end well."
Christina turned around and handed me a t-shirt and some shorts. "Wear this over your swimsuit. And just wear an old pair of tennis shoes, so that if you go somewhere where they might get messed up, it won't matter."
"Thank you, Christina. I just get super stressed when it comes to surprises."
"It's fine."
"Daniel just pulled in. Nadia is downstairs, she's going to take you to surprise Corbyn later isn't she?"
"Yeah, I think we're about to head over there."
"Alright, bye Chickee."
"Bye."
I went downstairs and got into Daniel's car. "Do you want to tell me where we're going now?" I asked, putting my seatbelt on.
"Nah, I'm god," Daniel said, looking over at me then backing out of the driveway.
"Ugh, fine. But just know I hate you for this."
"You'll stop hating me once I give you food, that's how this always works."

"You're right, but as of right now, I don't have any food."
