"West!" I screamed, running to him and jumping, giving him a hug.
"Hey babe. I missed you. Sorry I haven't been able to come in a few days," West apologized, spinning me around and setting me down.
"It's fine. I understand." I stood on my tip toes and gave him a peck on the lips, my arms still around his neck.
"So, what are we doing today?" West asked, looking down into my eyes.
"That's one hundred percent up to you," I replied.
"Movies?" he suggested.
"Yeah, I'm down. Let me go change I to something different."
"You look fine. Don't change." West grabbed my hand, turning me around so I was facing him.
"I want to change," I argued.
"Kourtney."
"West."
"Fine. But no makeup?"
"Mascara, concealer, and lip balm."
"Fine. I'll wait for you down here."
"Alright. I'll be down 15 minutes tops."
"Okay."
I went upstairs into my room and changed. I put on a black top, some jeans, a cardigan, my converse, and my necklace the author got me. It was just something I tended to wear every day. I went to my vanity and put on some concealer, mascara, and some lip balm before grabbing my bag and heading downstairs.
"Hey, Kourtney, can I ask you something?" Brody asked, stopping me.
"Yeah, but when did you get here?"
"I stayed last night with Nadia."
"Oh. What did you need?"
" Well, I want to get Nadia this for Christmas." He pulled out his phone and showed me a picture of a diamond ring. "It’s a promise ring. It's going have our anniversary date and first initials on the inside of the band, but I need to know her ring size."
"That’s so cute. I think she is a size 6. I'll make sure later." I handed him back his phone and he put it in his pocket.
"Thank you.
I went downstairs and saw West waiting by the door.
"Ready to go?" he asked, opening the door for me.
"Yep," I said, popping the 'p.'
We went I side and got into his car. He pulled out of the driveway and we made our way to the theatre.
"So, what do you want to see?" West asked, looking over at me then the road.
"It?"
"What's it?"
"It. The movie, with the clown," I explained.
"Oh, yea, let's do that."
"A lot of people have seen it already, so maybe it won't be so crowded," I pointed out.
We pulled into the parking lot and went inside. We ordered our tickets and got popcorn.
"How can you eat that much butter?" West asked, looking at the (extra) buttery popcorn.
"I don't know, me and Daniel always get a lot of butter on our popcorn. Just a habit, I guess."
We got our drink before heading to the movie area. We got there and there was only two other people watching the movie. We went to the back-left corner of the room and sat down. The movie started and we intertwined our hands.
-
"That was a good movie," West said as we walked out of the theater.
"Yeah, but not as good as the original."
"I've never seen the original."
"WHAT?!" I looked at West in disbelief and he just shrugged his shoulders. "I know what we are doing as soon as we get back to my place."
"So, I get to watch the same movie twice in one day?"
"Yes and no, the original is just better."
-
We pulled into my driveway and got out of the car, heading up to my bedroom. I found the original It movie on my computer and set it on my bed. I changed into some sleep shorts and one of West's sweat shirts and he changed into some sweatpants he had left here a while ago. We went downstairs to get snacks and drinks before heading back up and watching the movie.
-
By the time the movie had ended I was snugged up in West's side, almost asleep.
"I'm so tired," I yawned.
"Then go to sleep. I can leave and leave you here if you want."
"No, stay. I need someone to cuddle with. Besides, it's already 9 o'clock. Just stay the night."
"Alright."
I set my computer down on my desk before getting under the covers. West laid down beside and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"I love you," he whispered in my ear.
"I love you too," I said, snuggling deeper into his side.
-
I woke up to the flash of a camera. I kept my eyes closed and hurried my head deeper into West's neck. I tried to go back to sleep before another flash went off. I opened my eyes and saw Nadia standing there, all of the guys behind her. Nadia mouthed 'otp' and Jonah mouthed 'sorry.' They all left West kissed my forehead.
"They better at least send me those pictures." West kissed my forehead and I hid my face deeper into his neck, trying to hide my blush.
"Same," I mumbled, slowly drifting back off to sleep.
