"Kourtney! Wake up! We have school!" Nadia jumped onto me before shaking me.
"Nice try, they transferred all of our stuff yesterday. We officially take online school," I said. I grabbed one of my pillows and threw it at her.
"Dang. Well, it was worth a shot." She got off of me and sat on the end of my bed. "So, what do you want to do today?"
"We still have school, Naida. We'll do that, then we can talk about later." I got up and went over to my desk, turning my desktop computer on.
"Fine, school, then beach?"
"Then beach."
"Yay!" Nadia jumped off of my bed and over to me. "Oh, I got us some Starbucks, by the way."
"Okay. Bring your stuff in here, we can cheat off each other now."
"We cheated off each other before," Nadia said. She walked over to her room to get her laptop and other stuff.
"Yeah, but now we don't have to worry about being caught."
"Touche."
-
"It's been three hours. Can we PLEASE go to the beach now?" Nadia shut her laptop before turning to me.
"Let me finish this paragraph for this essay then we can get ready," I said. I kept typing while Nadia went to go put her laptop back up.
When she came back in, she was holding two bikinis and a black cover-up. "Which one should I wear?" she asked, holding up the two bikinis. I looked up for a second. One of them was white with a floral looking design on it with matching bottoms. The other one was a baby pink top with white bottoms.
"The white floral one," I said, beginning to type again.
"Alright."
I finished typing my essay before getting up and going over to my dresser. I picked out a white, gray, and black bikini, along as a tie dye romper. I changed into that before putting on some black flip flops and putting some things into my backpack.
"Can the boys come with us?" Nadia asked, walking into my room.
"Yeah, why not?"
"Alright. Jack just texted me and asked if we were doing anything, and I told him we were going to the beach. He wanted to know if they could tag along."
"Okay. You ready?" I asked, putting my backpack on and heading downstairs.
"Yeah," Nadia replied. "My car or yours?"
"Let's do my car. Its more suitable for the beach."
"You're just saying that cause you just got it painted matte black and you want to show it off," Nadia said, throwing me my keys.
"Yeah, that's why."
-
We got to the beach and saw all of the boys taking pictures.
"Do you know how many fans you are going to 'kill' because you guys are shirtless in all of these pictures?" I asked, walking over to them.
"Do you know how many fans we're going to bless because we're shirtless in all these pictures?" Jack said, glancing at me then back to the camera.
"Well, definitely not us," Nadia said, setting her bag down on the sand. I set my bag down beside hers and we took off our cover ups. Of course, boys being boys, there were a few whistles from somewhere behind us, but we just ignored them.
"WHO WANTS TO GO SWIM WITH ME?" I yelled, earning some looks from strangers.
"I do!" Daniel, Jack, Corbyn, and Zach all yelled at the same time.
"Last one in is a rotten egg!" Zach yelled, taking off running.
"You're such kids," I said laughing. I looked over at Nadia and Jonah. "You guys coming?" I asked.
"I need to talk to Jonah about something really quick," Nadia responded, looking over at Jonah.
"Yeah, I need to talk to her about something too," Jonah agreed.
"Okay, but hurry up!" I said before running into the ocean.
Nadia's POV
"So, do you really know anything about what happened between Daniel and Kourtney a few weeks ago?" I asked, looking at Jonah.
"No, I was going to ask you the same thing," Jonah replied. "When Daniel came home, he looked super upset, but he just said that he was sick. He wouldn't talk to any of us, especially about Kourtney. When we asked him what was wrong, all we got in response was a 'go away' or 'I don't feel good.'"
"When K came home she just said, 'I'm going to go to bed, I'm tired,' and left. She wouldn't talk to me or Christina. And she almost made us late for school the next day, like she was dreading seeing someone or something."
"I don't know, but it looks like they got it sorted out," Jonah said. He looked over towards the water, my gaze following his. "They look just like a couple."
"I know right. But they've practically friend zoned each other."
"I still ship it though."
"I mean, who doesn't?"
We saw Kourtney wave us over, signaling us to come swim.
"I really don't want to swim right now," I said, crossing my arms.
"Too bad."
"Wha-" before I could grasp onto what was happening, Jonah had thrown me over his shoulder and started running towards the water.
"Jonah, put me down!" I yelled, hitting his back. I was a little too late though, considering the first thing I saw when I came out of the water was a laughing Jonah.
