I woke up the next morning and went to stand up, but something was holding me down. I turned around and saw West, sleeping peacefully. I just laid there, taking in all of his features.
"Caught you staring," West said, opening his eyes, oh so slightly.
"You're a thief," I said.
"How? I haven't stolen anything in my entire life," West argued.
"Yes, you have. You stole my heart almost 5 months ago."
"So, are we doing cheesy pickup lines now or what?"
"Maybe."
He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. "Are you a camera? Because every time I look at you I smile."
"That one was good. But mine are better."
"Hit me."
"Are you a beaver, cause damn."
"Did you fart, because you just blew me away."
"Do you have a sunburn, or are you always this hot?"
"Are you Wi-Fi? Cause I'm feeling a connection."
"Is your name Google? Cause your everything I've been searching for."
"I'll think of a good one later, just you wait," West said. He gave me a kiss before getting out of the bed and standing up.
"I guess I'll be waiting for a while then," I said, following him.
"Starbucks?"
"What?"
"Do you want Starbucks?" West asked, grabbing his shirt and putting it on.
"Oh sure."
"What do you want? I'll go get it."
"Peppermint mocha. Oh, and stop and get some donuts too."
"My pleasure, your majesty."
I gave him a kiss before he walked out the door. I checked my phone and saw I had a message from Nadia. It was the picture of me and West from last night.

Kourtney💍: Yeah, thanks. Even though you woke me up from a great slumber.
Nadia🌻: Sorry boo. Do you have any plans for today?
Kourtney💍: I'm not sure. West is getting Starbucks rn but idk if he has anything planned.
Nadia🌻: Alright. Next week we are having a girls' day.
Kourtney💍: what day?
Nadia🌻: Thursday? The 11th.
Kourtney💍: Sounds good. We need some quality girl time.
Nadia🌻: Yesss. If only Christina was here.

"Honey, I'm home," West shouted as he walked through the door.
"Starbucks!" I yelled, running to the door and taking my bag out of his hands.
"And donuts," he said, holding up the bag.
"I love you. Thanks."
"I love you too, and welcome."
"Are you coffee? Cause I love you a latte," I said, thinking of a coffee related pickup line.
"Really?" West said after taking a drink of his coffee. "Can I tie your shoes? I don't want you falling for anyone else."
"We will continue this later. Right now, the gym is calling my name."
"I'll go with you."
West grabbed a pair of basketball shorts and a t-shirt he had left here before going into the bathroom and changing. I went upstairs and picking out some gym shorts and a tank top. I changed before heading back downstairs and meeting West.
"Lets go."

"I'm exhausted," I said. I grabbed my water bottle and took a long drink.
"You should be, you killed that." West did the same thing as me as we went back outside to his car.
"I'm probably going to take Zeus on a walk when we get back to my place."
"Alright, I have to go help mom anyway. And, who's Zeus?"
"Mom's dog. She found him on the side of the road and she took him in and gave him a home."

We pulled into the driveway. Me and West said our goodbyes while I got into my car and headed towards mom's house.

After me and Zeus made it to the park, I took him to a field area. I let him off his leash and let him run around. Since mom has had him for a while, he had been trained and knew to stay with me. I sat down on the ground and Zeus laid his head on my lap after running around for a while. I saw a shadow come from behind me and instantly knew who it was.
"Fuck off Hayden," I said, not even looking up.
"Please let me explain," he begged.
"Explain what? There is nothing to explain, except for the fact of 'why are you still standing here after I have told you plenty of times in the past to leave me alone.'"
"About Natalie."
"Yeah, Natalie. She's a bitch who I used to call one of my friends. She is also the person my ex-boyfriend cheated on me with, which makes both of you worthless pieces of garbage to me."
"There was a reason I did it."
"I don't want to hear it. No reason is acceptable."
"You are gonna listen to me or else," he threatened.
I stood up and clipped Zeus's leash onto his collar. "Or else what, Hayden? What are you gonna do? You never had the balls to stand up for me while we were dating. You didn't have the balls to do anything to me at the beach a while ago while you let me beat you up. You haven't ever done anything to make me think you will do something now. So, tell me, what the fuck are you gonna do now?
"You just wait Kourtney Macey. You just wait. Your whole life will be ripped to shreds. You will regret ending things between us."
"Oh, but sweetie. You are the reason I ended things between us. Oh, and just remember, you can torture me all you want. But let me warn you now in case you have any ideas. If you lay a single hand on my friends, family, boyfriend, or my dog, I will be sure you have a life in prison. Or better yet, a gravestone, cause of death being murder by Kourtney Macey. So, watch your actions, Reynolds, or your life will be the one getting destroyed."
And with that I put Zeus' s leash back on and walked back to my place. If he thought he was going to do anything to my loved ones, he better think again. He has no idea what I'm capable of.
