"Happy one month!" I screamed through the phone.
"Happy one month!" Daniel screamed back.
I set my phone down on the vanity and started doing my makeup. "So how is Germany?"
"Great, we've met so many fans. I can't wait until we tour here."
"You guys have come so far in just over two years." I looked at Daniel and smiled. "I'm proud of you."
"Why are you doing your makeup?"
"I have an interview then a meeting with my manager. She wants to go over some release dates and all that."
"Well, have fun with that. I have to go, were about to go to an interview."
"Alright, bye baby."
"Bye princess."
I ended the face time call and continued doing my makeup. Once I was finished with that I changed into some white jeans, a striped crop top, and some shoes. I went downstairs and grabbed my bag.
"I'm going to the store. Do you need anything?" Nadia asked, stopping me.
"Um, no, I don't think so. I'll text you if I think of something."
"Okay."
I went outside and got into my car.

"How was the meeting?" Nadia asked as I walked through the door.
"I wanted to kill every person in that room."
"Thank you for not doing that. I don't want to live alone."
I gave Nadia a small smile before heading upstairs and going to my room. I changed out of my clothes into some gym shorts and one of Daniel's sweatshirts. I sat on my bed and pulled a blanket over me. I went on my phone and saw I had a message from the author.

theauthor: hey Kourt
kourtneyofficial_: hey. Wyd
theauthor: just hanging around
kourtneyofficial_: same
thauthor: so, I was thinking
theauthor: I think I'm ready
kourtneyofficial_: ready for what?
theauthor: ready to show you who I am
kourtneyofficial_: really?
theauthor: really.
theauthor: is next Thursday okay with you?
kourtneyofficial_: that’s perfect
theauthor: go to the café you and Daniel go to. Ask to see the owner and tell them your name and he will show you to the roof.
kourtneyofficial_: I'll be there.

I smiled and laid back on my bed, clutching my phone to my chest. I closed my eyes, knowing that I was finally going to be able to meet the person I could tell anything to. He had been there for me through thick and thin, and now I could finally put a face to the name.
I plugged my phone into the charger and laid back down. I closed my eyes and just thought about what was to come.
