"I'm here," Daniel shouted as he walked into my house.
"Everything is in the office. I'll meet you downstairs in a minute," I shouted back.
I went back into my room and finished my makeup. I went into my mirror and looked over my outfit. I had on a white t shirt, some jeans, and a sweater cardigan thing. I went downstairs and into the office. Daniel had come over to film a cover with me. He already everything set up, and I had set up the camera before he got here.
"So, you know your parts on guitar, right?"
"Yeah. I used my guitar from when I was little. It wasn’t good, but I know the parts."
"Alright. Let's run through it a couple of times before we start to film."
We ran through the song a couple times before I started to record. I decided to film a quick intro before we started to play.
"Hi guys!" I said in a cheery tone. "So, for those of you who don’t know, my name is Kourtney Macey. Today I will be filming my very first cover with my best friend, Daniel James Seavey!"
"Hi. I'm Daniel Seavey, I'm eighteen years old, I'm from Portland, Oregan, I'm in a band, were called Why Don’t We, I-"
"Okay, that’s enough," I said, pushing the side of Daniel's face. "So, today we are going to be doing a cover of Issues by Julia Michaels. I hope you guys enjoy and let's get into this."

"Thank you, guys, for watching. All of my social media info down below if you want to follow me there, as well as Daniel's and the band's."
"Peace!" Daniel said, doing a peace sign.
I shut the camera off and me and Daniel went to my room. We did some quick and simple editing and posted the video. We both went to our Instagrams and Snapchats and posted about the cover.

"The fans are loving it," Daniel said, scrolling through the Instagram comments.
"That's always good to hear."
"Does this mean I can post all of the videos I have of you singing?"
"You be never took videos of me singing."
There was a long pause before I looked at Daniel.
"Daniel..."
"I'm sorry your just so good and I couldn't help it!"
"Whatever," I said, chuckling.
"I love you."
"I guess I love you too."
"Yay!"
"What time is it?" I asked, looking at Daniels watch.
"5:03 P.M. Why?"
"Trying to figure out if I go to sleep now, will I still be tired tomorrow morning."
"Yes. The answer is always yes. You are never not tired in the morning."
"True."
"So, any plans for the rest of the day?" Daniel asked, laying back on my bed.
"I just asked you a question about me sleeping all day and you ask that?"
"Sorry. Just trying to make a conversation."
"Netflix?" I asked. I grabbed the remote and turned on my TV.
"Got popcorn?"
"Extra butter."
"I'll choose the movie, you make the popcorn."
I ran downstairs and made the popcorn. I put it all into a big bowl before going back into my room. I walked in and Dani already had the pillows and blankets set out.
"What movie are we watching?" I set down the popcorn and sat on the bed beside Daniel.
"Mean Girls."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Mean Girls? You're really gonna- You know what, never mind." I laid down and curled up in the blankets.
"You know I want a blanket too right?" Daniel said, trying to get some of my blanket.
"Honey, there are still like, two more for you."
"You have like, five."
"Three. I only have five movie blankets."
"Whatever."
"Daniel no!" Before I could move out of the way Daniel jumped on top of me.
"Get your giraffe looking self off of me."
"Wow, I really feel the love. Thanks Kourt."
"No problem. Now, seriously. If you don't mind, I can't breathe."
Daniel rolled onto the bed beside me and started to play the movie.
"I still can't believe you chose Mean Girls," I said, emphasizing the title.
"What? It's a classic."
"But out of all movies, Mean Girls."
"You know you like it."
"I should never let you pick a movie again. Nothing is wrong with this movie, but really. You need to update that little brain of yours."
"So I do have a brain!"
"Yes. A very tiny one, but yes."

"Alright. I'll see you later."
