I dropped Nadia off at our house about three hours later. I originally intended to drop her off after the movie ended, but me and Daniel got into an argument over something stupid.
"I really wish you would come job searching with me," Nadia said, folding some clothes that were on her bed.
"Honey, I love you, but you know how much I hate looking for jobs. Why do you think I still don't have one?"
"You're right, I do know that." She grabbed her backpack out of her closet and stuck it out towards me. "But could you help me pack for a photoshoot I have tomorrow?"
"Yeah, I guess." I went over to her closet and pulled out one of her crop tops.
"Can I borrow the jeans you wore Monday? I need them for an outfit and I can't find mine."
"Yeah, they're in the floor in front of my bed."
"Alright."
Nadia left the room as I continued folding some of her clothes that she had put on the bed. She walked back into the room with my jeans in one hand and the note I found in the other. "Hey Kourtney, what's this?" she asked, holding the note up.
"It's just some note I found in my locker."
"Do you know who put it there?" she asked, unfolding the paper and reading it. "And I think someone has an admirer."
"No, someone just stuck it in my locker by accident, it happens all the time to people, especially at the beginning of the school year." I said, grabbing the note from her and sticking it into the pocket of Daniel's sweatpants.
"Whatever you say."
We spent the rest of the time in silence. I helped her pack a few more items and she helped me pack some clothes for while I stayed at the boys' house. I told Nadia, mom, and Mason bye before heading back to the guys' house.
"I'm back people!" I yelled as I walked through the front door.
"She's alive," I heard Zach scream from the other room.
"It's about time you get back. We are all hungry and we didn't know what you wanted so we had to wait," Jonah said, walking into the living room.
"One, you could have called or texted me. Two, I was helping Nadia pack for a photoshoot she has tomorrow."
"Okay, so are we getting post mates or going somewhere?" Jack asked, holding his phone up.
"Just get post mates."
"Our usual's?"
"Yeah."
Jack ordered everyone's food as I set my stuff in Daniel and Jack's room. I went back downstairs to find all the guys playing video games, except for Corbyn. "Where's the bean?"
"Probably facetiming Christina. She's visiting L.A. in a couple of weeks, so they're probably trying to get everything set in stone."
"Oh. So, what are we playing?" I asked, sitting in the floor in front of the couch.
"FIFA."
"Of course, we are. Well, let the games begin, and may the odds be ever in your favor," I said, quoting my favorite movie.
-
"I'm going to bed," I told Daniel, getting up off the couch. "Everyone else went to bed two hours ago, and I'm starting to get tired."
"I'm coming too, you sleeping with me tonight?" Daniel asked, getting up off the couch and following me.
"Yeah, I'm too tired to pull the couch into a bed tonight."
"Okay."
Before you think anything, no, me and Daniel are not dating. He's my best friend. No, we're not 'friends with benefits.' We're like brother and sister. When I sleep over at the boys' house with Nadia, she takes the couch and I will sleep in Daniel's room with him. Just like any best friends, we share a bed. Its normal. I got in bed as Daniel turned the lights off.
"Good night butt face."
"Go to bed, Daniel."
