"Wake up! Let's go explore!" I yelled, jumping onto Daniel and Jonah.
"Kourtney, go back to bed. It's too early," Daniel mumbled.
"It's 10:30, wake up and get dressed!"
By now Corbyn, Jack, and Zach were all awake too.
"I'm going to get dressed. I don't want you to scream in my ear," Jack said.
"Yeah, me too," Zach agreed.
Jonah and Daniel got up and changed into their clothes. I had already put on a striped shirt, an army jacket, jeans, and some converse before I came into their room.
-
"Ready?" Daniel asked, putting on his coat.
"Yep."
We left the hotel and started walking down the street. We decided to just walk and not take a taxi or anything.
"So, what shall we do today, my lady?" Daniel asked.
"Get food. I'm starving."
"There's a diner down the street right here we can stop at. They have breakfast there," Jonah joined. He pointed down to the street corner.
"Okay, let's go."
-
After we all are our food we decided to just walk around for a little while.
-
We were just walking when I looked around. I noticed that it was just me and Daniel now, that the other boys weren't there.
"Where's everybody else?" I asked.
Daniel looked at me, then beside him, then in front of him, then behind him. "I'm not sure." He took his phone out and called Jack.
"Hey, where are you guys?"
"We got held back at a street crossing. You guys didn't notice so we just let you go," Jack said.
"Do you want us to meet you somewhere?"
"No, it's fine. You guys do your thing."
"Alright, bye."
Daniel hung up the phone and put it back into his pocket.
"So, where are they?"
"They got held back."
"Oh."
"Let's go do something super touristy. Like, go to a souvenir shop or something," Daniel suggested.
"Alright, I'm down."
-
After hours of going through tacky shirts from souvenir stores (And buying a few) it started to rain.
We ran into a little cafe type thing and sat down at a table. We ended up ordering coffees and moving to a seat in the back corner.
"Did you have fun?"
"Yes, a lot. Thank you for bringing me."
"Well, technically I didn't bring you, but your welcome."
"You know what I meant."
"Yes, Kourtney, I do know what you meant." He took a sip of his coffee before looking down at my phone. "So, how's the author?"
"Good. I've actually not talked to him in a few days, though."
I was about to text him and ask how he was, but I decided against it. I wanted to enjoy my time with Daniel.
"I can't believe you still talk to him. It's need how many months?"
"Almost a year. But, I rant to him all the time. And he always gives me advice on what to do, and he never judges me. He keeps some of my biggest secrets."
"You know that I'm here for that, right?"
"I know, but there are certain things that I can't always tell you."
"Like what?"
"I would tell you, but I can't."
Daniel was about to say something when I got a message from Nadia.

Nadia🌻: DID YOU TELL JONAH?!
Kourtney💍: that you like him? No.
Nadia🌻: DID DANIEL?!
Kourtney💍: No, why?
Nadia🌻: I just got flowers shipped to me.
Nadia🌻: and the card says
Nadia🌻: for a beautiful girl like you -Jonah
Kourtney💍: AWWW
Kourtney💍: THAT'S ADORABLE
Kourtney💍: JODIA NEEDS TO HAPPEN ASAP
Nadia🌻: I'm going to go put these up in a vase, bye.
Kourtney💍: Goodbye Mrs. Marais

"Jonah got flowers shipped to Nadia. It's too cute I can't handle it."
"I knew he was going to. He told he last night he was finally going to do something about his little crush."
"Daniel, it's adorable. I wish someone would do that for me."
"They will, one day."
"Yeah, because I can keep a boyfriend. Heck, they aren't even dating!"
"Just wait. One day you will find a guy who will treat you like a queen," Daniel said, reassuringly.
"Yeah, if only that person was you," I thought.
