West opened the car door for me before going to the driver's side and getting in.
On the way we jammed out to songs, mostly Why Don't We, gotta support the fam.
Once we got there we got out and went inside.
"This place is so nice," I said, looking around the restaurant.
"Thought we could do something a little fancier before later," West said. He interlocked our fingers and went over to the check in area.
"Hi, how can I help you?" One of the waiters asked.
"Reservation for Trent," West replied.
"Right this way." She took us to a table in the back and sat us down.
-
"You almost ready to go?" West asked.
"Yeah."
West paid for our food and went out to his car. We stopped at a gas station and he told me to go ahead and change.
I went into the bathroom and changed into my swimsuit, putting my jeans and sweatshirt on over it. I put my sneakers on and put the dress and heels into my backpack. I went back outside to the car and saw West had changed into some swim trunks and a shirt.
"Ready?"
"Yes, but where are we going to swim, I'm assuming, at 9 o'clock at night on a Thursday?" I asked. I set my backpack down in the front floor board and got in.
"Not sure the Thursday part really matters, but I know a place, and we can swim there."
"Are you like, gonna take me to a lake and drown me?"
"You seriously need to stop watching all those murder shows."
"You can try to stop me, but just remember. If you get in my way, all I watch is murder. I have skills."
"Well that wasn't terrifying at all."
"You love me."
"Yes, yes I do. That's why I know to stay away from you and murder. Especially when Morgan or Reid is on Criminal Minds and Tony on NCIS."
"I've never been prouder." I placed my hand on my heart and pretended to cry. "So, where are we going?"
"Well, mom and dad are out of town this week, so me and you are going to stay the night there."
"I don't have any clothes."
"Nadia dropped some off by the house while we were out eating."
"You really thought this through. When are they coming back?"
"They get back Saturday. They said I could have someone over, even though I live in an apartment, so I obviously chose you."
"You're so sweet and cliché sometimes it's adorable."
"Why thank you, I try my best."
We pulled into his drive way and went inside. His dad was the owner of some company, so his family was pretty rich. We put our stuff inside his room and went back downstairs to go to the pool.
I jumped in without any warning. I surfaced the water and saw West. He was soaking from how close he was standing to the pool.
"You could have waited until I got my shirt off," West said, pulling his now drenched shirt off.
"I could have, but I didn't."
"You are getting it." West jumped into the water right beside me and pulled my leg, dragging me under.
I turned around and grabbed his face, kissing him before I swam back up to the surface.
