I put on some heels and did my hair as Daniel got ready in the other room.
Me and Daniel had been dating for four years now. He was 22, I was 21. We were currently in Paris while the boys were taking a break to see their families.
"D, hurry we're going to be late," I yelled into the other room.
"Reservations aren't even until 7:30."
"Traffic."
"Point made."
I grabbed my purse and followed Daniel out the door.

"Reservation for Seavey," Daniel said to the waiter.
"Right this way."
We followed the waiter back to a table where he sat us down and took our drink orders.
"I'm so not used to being in fancy restaurants," I said, looking around.
"Well, we're in Paris. You have to go to at least one." Daniel grabbed my hand from across the table as we both looked at the menu.

"You ready to go?" Daniel asked, standing up from his chair.
"Yeah." I grabbed my purse, taking his hand in mine as we walked out of the restaurant.
"Since it is close, do you want to go to the Eiffel tower?" Daniel asked.
"Is that even a question? Of course."
We got into a taxi and made our way to the Eiffel tower.

"This is beautiful." We stood, looking at the tower. The lights on it were lit up. Surprisingly, there weren’t as many people here as we expected.
Daniel wrapped his arm around me. "Want to get our picture?"
"Of course."
"Excuse me, mam." Daniel went over to a girl and, what looked to be her husband. "Can you take my girlfriend and I's picture?" The lady nodded and Daniel said something else to her. He came back over with the lady and her husband. Daniel picked me up and she took our picture.

"Thank you so much," I said, looking at the lady. I noticed Daniel moving beside me so I looked back over to him. He was on one knee and was holdning a ring box.
"K, the day I met you, I found my missing piece. Getting to call you mine these last four years has made me the happiest person alive. You complete me and make me a better person. I love you with all of my heart, all of my soul. I cannot promise you and easy life, or that I will not disappoint you. I cannot promise that I will be the best husband, but I promise that I will choose to love you every day. So, after everything we have been through together, Kourtney Evalyn Macey, will you marry me?"
I wiped away my tears and smiled. "It took you long enough." Daniel stood up picked me up, spinning me around in circles.
"She said yes!" He screamed, causing me to laugh. People started clapping and he set me down.
"I love you."
"Not near as much as I love you, Mrs. Seavey."
