I got out of the shower and looked at my outfit. It was a fancier looking, flowy, white crop top. I also had a pair of distresses ripped jean shorts, along with my brown sandals.
"Nadia, can you come curl my hair?" I yelled.
"Yeah." Nadia responded. I heard her footsteps coming up the stairs before my bedroom door opened. "Weren't you supposed to be ready by seven?" Nadia asked. She grabbed my curling iron from the bathroom as I changed into my clothes.
"Yeah, but I got behind schedule. I'm going to facetime Christian, maybe she can calm me down." I picked up my phone and facetimed Christina.
She answered on the third call. "Hey guys! what's up?"
"I am curling her hair and she is doing her makeup," Nadia said.
"And we are in a bit of a rush," I added.
"Why? Where are you going?" Christina asked.
"Kourtney over here has a date," Nadia answered.
"Ohhh, its getting saucy," Christina said.
"Shut it." I grabbed my makeup bag and started to do my makeup.
"Where are you going?"
"Not sure, it's a surprise. But, he said cute but casual."
"Aww, who is he?"
"I met him at the mall."
"Oh, interesting. Nadia."
"Huh?" Nadia mumbled, trying not to burn herself with the curling iron.
"Do you approve?"
"Depends. I haven't got to give him the talk yet, but I think he's good."
"Okay, well, when you give him the talk, facetime me. He's going to get a two-for-one deal."
"Will do."
We finished doing my hair and makeup right before 7:00. I got a text on my phone from West.

West💙: Hey, so for tonight, Jack and Corbyn are picking you up.
Kourtney💍: Okay?
West💙: Just go with it

There was a knock on the door from downstairs. I ended the facetime call with Christina and grabbed my bag, along with my phone and charger.
"I'll go open the door, you finish anything you need to," Nadia said. She went downstairs as I went over to my jewelry box. I was looking for a necklace when I found the one Daniel had given me for our seven-year 'frienaverasry' as we called it. (friendship anniversary).

*Flashback*

July 17, 2016
"Come on, Kourtney! You're so slow!" Daniel said, pulling my arm.
"Calm down and enjoy the view."
Me and Daniel decided to go on a hike. It was something neither of us had done in a while, so we thought it would be fun. We had just reached the top of the hill, and were looking at the view. Daniel stopped and walked back over to me. We stood there for a few minutes, just looking at the sunset when I noticed him moving beside me.
"Daniel, what are you doing?
He got down on one knee before pulling a long black box out of his pocket. "Happy seven-year frienaversary."
I opened the box and saw a silver necklace with a diamond in the middle. "Aww, Daniel, it's beautiful. Thank you so much." I closed the necklace and gave Daniel a hug.
He picked me up and spun me around before setting me down.
"Oh, I have something for you too." I pulled the square box out of my backpack and handed it to Daniel. It was a personalized bracelet that had both his initials and my initials on it. It was exactly like one he had been wanting for a while, just with my own personal touch.
"Thank you, K. I love it."
"He gave me another hug before we both sat down and continued watching the sunset.

*End of flashback*

I grabbed the necklace and put it on before heading downstairs. "I'm ready."
