Nadia's POV
"Nadia, wake up," I heard someone whisper in my ear. "We're going somewhere."
"Go away," I said, pushing the person's face away from me.
"Nadia, come on."
I turned around and saw Jonah. He was wearing a white t-shirt and some blue jeans.
"When did you change and what do you want?"
"I just did and for you to get out of bed and come with me."
"Where are we going?" I checked my alarm clock and saw it was only 12 at night.
"You'll see. Just change and meet me downstairs."
Jonah left and I got out of bed. I put on a maroon halter top, a blue jean jacket, some black leggings and my uggs. I grabbed my phone and charger and went downstairs.
"You ready?" Jonah whispered, careful not to wake up the other four boys sleeping on the couch.
"Yeah," I yawned.
We went outside and got into Jonah's jeep. He started the car and handed me a coin.
"Pick a number ten through twenty."
"Uh, seventeen."
"We are going to flip the coin seventeen times. Each time we come to a stop sign or exit, we turn until we run out of options. Heads is right tails is left."
He pulled out of the driveway and started to drive down the road. "Flip it."
The coin landed on heads. "Right."
We continued until i had flipped the coin the last time. Jonah pulled into a large empty meadow.
"Where are we?" I asked, getting out of the car.
"We are in a field." Jonah pulled a radio out of the back of his jeep, along with a blanket. He laid the blanket on the grass and sat down, me doing the same.
"Where did you get that?" I asked, looking at the radio.
"I found it at a garage sale." Jonah turned on the radio and put a CD into it. Automatically One Direction started playing.
"Omg, it's my favorite band!" I said, sarcasticly.
"Wow, that hurt," Jonah said, placing his hand on his heart.
"I'm kidding."
"I know you are."
"You're insecure, don't know what for. Your turning heads when you walk through the door," I sang. I stood up and grabbed Jonah's hand, pulling him up as well.
"Everyone else in the room can see it, everyone else but you," Jonah joined in.
"Baby you light up my world like nobody else, the way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed."
"And when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell, you don't know, you don't know your beautiful," we sang together.
-
I was laying on the blanket, my head in Jonah's lap. We were just looking up at the stars in a comfortable silence.
"Thank you. Even though you woke me up at midnight, I had a lot of fun."
"No problem baby."
"What?" I asked, glancing up at him, a smirk on my face.
Jonah realized what he said and his face turned a light shade of pink. "Nothing."
I sat up and Jonah stood up. He went to his car and came back carrying his guitar. "You know, there was one One Direction song we didn't sing earlier." He sat down in front on me and held his guitar.
"And what might that be?" Technically, I lied. It was Perfect, my favorite 1D song.
He started to play his guitar and started to sing. "I might never be your knight in shining armor. I might never be the one you take home to mother. And i might never be the one who brings you flowers. But I can be the one, be the one tonight."
-
Once he finished playing he set his guitar down and grabbed both of my hands.
"Nadia, will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes. Yes I will be your girlfriend."
