"WHY IS THE FIRE ALARM GOING OFF?" I ran down the stairs and saw Nadia holding a fire extinguisher and pointing it at the stove. Once the air cleared up I saw Logan standing behind one of the walls, holding his vlog camera. "Logan, what did you do?"
"I needed vlog content. So, I came over here and one thing lead to another and yeah."
"Logan, you're not Jake. You don't need to set things on fire for views. You have 20 million subscribers for goodness sake."
"I know, I'm sorry. I'll pay for everything and it will all be fixed by the end of the day."
"Alright." I looked over at the stove and then back at Logan. "What were you trying to cook anyways?"
"Pizza. He was trying to cook pizza," Nadia joined. She brushed her hair out of her face and went to go put the fire extinguisher back up.
"How do you mess up cooking pizza. IT'S PIZZA. You put it the oven and let it cook."
"Well, you see my name is Logan Paul. That name comes with some flaws."
"You better hope your wife can cook."
"Yeah, I hope so."
"Okay, well, you can start fixing all this," I said, "And I am going to go change then go out for ice cream."
"Okay. Everything will be fixed by tonight at 12 o'clock," Logan said.
I turned around and went back upstairs. I changed out of my pajamas and into a tie dye t-shirt, some white shorts, and my brown sandals. I went back downstairs and grabbed my phone, keys, and wallet.
"I'll be back later!"
"Okay."
-
"Can I just have a vanilla cone please?"
"Yeah, that will be $3.36."
I paid for my ice cream and took it out side.
I was sitting at one of the tables when someone walking by dropped their wallet.
"Oh, excuse me. You dropped this," I said, handing the person back their wallet.
"Thanks, I didn't notice."
I looked up and met the green eyes I never really wanted to see again. I shoved the wallet into his hands and turned around, walking away.
"Kourtney, wait," he said, starting to walk after me.
I turned around and faced him. "What is there to wait on, West? We broke up. You left. I am doing just fine. I have my career, and I just released my first EP. You are happy with Natalie. You go do your thing, I'm gonna go do mine." I turned back around and started to walk away.
"I'm sorry."
"So am I."
"You have nothing to be sorry for."
"I have a lot of things to be sorry for, West. And I'm sorry for each one of them. Now, I have a house to get back to before Logan finishes burning my house down."
"Kourtney-"
"West, when you look at me, do you see the girl you loved, or the girl you left?"
He started to say something before he fell silent.
"Exactly."
I turned around and walked back towards the house. I got a call from Daniel, so I answered it.
"What's up?"
"I'm bored."
"On the tour bus?"
"Yeah."
"Okay, what do you want me to do about it?"
"I don't know, have a conversation with me."
"Okay, let me restart. Hi Daniel, how are you doing today?"
"I'm doing good, thank you for asking. How are you doing?"
"Great. I'm doing great."
