You looked at the picture in shock.
Why would Spock draw a picture of you?
Last time you checked, you weren't special. Even though you were happy with yourself, you didn't stand out among the human race in any way, let alone be special enough to draw.
You couldn't look away from the drawing. Not only did the fact he could draw this well amaze you, but also the fact he would just draw you because he wanted to.
A smile crept onto your face as you placed it back down. You tried to get it in the same position as it was in before, because you knew Spock would probably tell the difference in placement.

You went back to your room once more so that you could get as much sleep as you could before the big mission in the morning.

You slipped into your bed making sure you remembered to double check the clothes after you got in pajamas.
Slipping into a deep sleep you began to think of the Vulcan that has been clouding your thoughts for a while now. You could only imagine him sitting at his desk drawing you.
You imagined how calm he would be to not have any duties.
You imagined him kissing you again. Whether it be the Vulcan way or not.
These thoughts made you blush, and you could feel the heat rising in your face.
You smiled as you fell alseep.

You woke up early so that you were able to get ready without having to rush around.
You put on your uniform and pulled back you hair because of dress code regulations (unless you have short hair...then I guess you cant pull your hair back ).
You grabbed you tricorder and communicator before you ran down to the med bay to meet with Bones since he was usually down there.

You were met with the back of a dark brown haired man who was muttering things under his breath.
Looking over his shoulder, you could see he was doing something with two vials of some type of liquid.
Bones dropped one of the vials and jumped back.
                              "Dammit!"
He sighed and rubbed his nose with his fingers. Bones pressed a button on the wall to call for a cleanup crew to come help.
                              "McCoy?"
"Huh? Oh, Champ. Im not use to people calling my by my real name."
                              "Oh. Sorry."
"Its nothing to be sorry about, its just odd to- Oh nevermind."
He sighed louder as he leaned on a nearby examination table.
                              "Bones? Is something wrong?"
"No, its just I'm afraid something...bad it going to happen."
"Bones, I promise you that we are safe to go down there."
"I know, its not the fact that you havent told me how we are going to be safe, its just Im always nervous with this kind of thing. Even if I know a hundred percent that we will be ok...it still gets me all nervous."
You placed a hand on his arm.
                              "Awwww. The Doctor is scared."
"Yes! I am scared...but dont say awwww..."
He pouted in his normal grumpy way as he turned away from you and started to head to the transporter room.
You followed him since you were going to the same place.
"Champ...I just hope your right with all this. I hate to admit it, but if we lose the hob-goblin, I might tear up."
Bones pretended to wipe away fake tears from his eyes.
You elbowed him in the stomach and laughed as he did too.

Then it got you thinking. What if you really lost Spock. I mean at least you knew he was alive right now because of the Q character, but it might not stay like that.
You began to think of how traumatizing it would be to lose him. Your smile faded and you went quiet as you zoned out.
Bones noticed this for he grabbed you hand and pulled you along so you wouldnt stop in your tracks.
You were partially taken from your thoughts, but were still thinking about it.
He bent down and whispered in your ear.
"Champ, its ok. It was only a joke."
Now you were completely back in reality as you looked up at Bones.
Even though people say he doesn't have any, you believe he does have good bedside manners. At least to you anyways.

You noticed that you zoned out longer then you realized, because you were already at the Transporter room.
Kirk was there this time to go on the mission with three other party members.
Bones let go of your hand slowly to make sure you weren't going to go back to zoning out.
Jim nodded to you and everyone stepped onto the transporter.
Kirk gave the ok, and you saw the blue sparkling of the beam surround you and the rest of the team.
You vision became a blur as you were being transported down.

Not long after, you were met with the once pretty and lush gardens of this planet, but now they just brought back bad memories of almost dying, and losing your Vulcan

Kirk turned around to look and see if everyone made it down ok.

                              "Ok, everyone. Lets go!"
