You woke up in your bed. Unaware of what had happened, you sat there trying to remember what had happen. Then it occurred to you that you had no memory of what had happened ever since Spock went to get you a drink.

You remember being sleepy, so you assumed it was because of you falling asleep that you had no memory.

Well, Spock could've poisoned you, or paralyzed you with that oh-so famous neck pinch of his.

Highly unlikely.

Today was your day off so you had nothing better to do then to let your curiosity get the better of you. You started to walk to the bridge to ask Spock what actually happened last night.

The sound of air sounded off as the doors pushed themselves open.

"Y/N, what brings you here? Up for another round of Poker so I can beat you this time?"

"Not right now, no. I was wondering were Mr. Spock might be."

"Um...I don't know actually. He walked off with Ohura to talk? I'm not sure. Mr. Dennet, where is Spock's current location?"

The man that sat right behind Kirk turned around to face his station. He pressed a few button that brought up a map of one of the ships decks. There were two little red dots inside of a room.

"Um...He is currently located in the second conference room on deck 9."

"Thank you Mr. Dennet. Well, there you go, Y/N."

"Thank you captain."

You walked up the ramp that lead to the lift out of the bridge.

"Wait, Y/N! Just...Just call me Jim. It sounds less official when my friends call me Jim."

"Friend?"

"Well, yeah. You are my friend, right?"

"Well....I suppose so, captain."

Kirk gave you a little friendly looked that was pretending to be annoyed.

"Jim"

"Thanks. OK, well, see you later, Y/N."

And with that you walked out.

You now had a smile perfectly placed of your features. Now it was official. You were now part of Jim's group of friends.

'Deck 9....Deck 9..' you silently muttered to yourself as you walked down the hall so you wouldn't forget it. You were wandering around to look for another lift that would take you to more place then just the bridge.

"Ah ha!" you yelled as you spotted one. It was empty, so that meant no awkward encounters.

"Deck 9" you said loud and clearly so the AI would understand you.

The lift began to travel down to deck 9. This was when you started getting nervous. What if they were talking about something confidential? Something personal...something you shouldn't hear?

The doors to the lift opened quietly. You were silently wishing that the whole lift would break so you wouldn't have to go.

You walked out and immediately regretted it. You were met by friendly strangers who smiled at you for no reason other than the kindness in their hearts. You didn't smile back, you couldn't. Something was stopping you. You were stopping you.

Your heart starting to pound again. A feeling you were getting all too familiar with.

You were about to back up into the turbo lift again to leave...until you heard a very familiar voice. It was coming from the room that was so conveniently next to the turbo-lift.
