"Y/N, if I may ask. What really made you believe you were going to die?"
                              "I can't tell you..."
                              "The reason for that is?"
                              "I...I can't..."
You stepped away from Spock, who in turn, followed behind you.
"Do you feel as if you are not allowed to tell me?"
"No...Yes, but its not why you think."
"Why cant you tell him, Y/N?"
Your head snapped in the direction of the voice.
Q was standing in the door way of second half of Spock's room, bouncing a ball of the wall as he caught it repeatedly.
"I...," you were at a loss for words as you stared at Q.
Spock looked in the same direction as you, but saw nothing.
                              "Y/N? What is the problem?"
Spock placed a gentle hand on the side of your face as he moved your head to look at him.
                              "Yes, Y/N. Whats the problem?"
Spock's image was replaced by Q's
You gasped as you smacked Q's hand away. Spock looked at you, confused with your actions as he walked forward slowly.
In your vision, Spock was Q. Q smiled madly as he walked forward slowly.
"No...No, Q. Get back." You closed your eyes as you covered your face with your hands and slid down the wall in terror.
Spock stopped in his tracks as he heard the name she uttered. 'Q'
"Q? I am not that man, Y/N. Trust me, please."
Spock walked slowly to your trembling figure as he knelt down beside you.
His voice slowly went back to sounding like himself to you.
Slowly, you looked up to see the Vulcan you knew instead of the man you came to fear.
                              "Spock...," you muttered.
                              "Yes. Yes, Y/N. Its alright."
He placed a hand on your arm, and with that, you threw yourself into his arms.
He caught himself from completely falling on the ground with your sudden movement.
You hooked your arms around his neck and buried your face in his shirt.
Spock wrapped an arm around your back and held your waist with his free hand.
"We need to tell the Captain about this man," he whispered.
"No. We can't. We don't know what he can do."
Spock kissed your cheek, not knowing what else to do to help you.
"It'll be fine. If we both know about him, then he obviously needs something from us. All we need to worry about at this current state is that you are kept safe from harm."
You smiled into his shirt as he held you and stood up.
As your let go slowly from each other, his posture became more rigid as his face became more emotionless. You were slightly sad, but knew nothing had changed about him personally.
"I will tell the Captain if anything becomes more stressful or shows any sign of causing harm to you or anyone else. Until then, I promise that I will not inform him of anything having to do with the man called Q." His voice was monotone which calmed you.
                              "Thank you, Spock."
No words escaped his mouth as all he did was grab your hand and curled his middle and index fingers against yours.

Doran tapped on his desk. He thought of the possibilities he and his race could accomplished if what Kirk had told him was true. Having a friendship with the The technology, journeys, everything. It all seemed amazing to him. The thought of being able to leave the planet that his race had been on since the beginning seemed surreal.
"That's because it is surreal, my friend."
Dorans head shot up to look at the strange voice.
"Who the hell are you? What are you doing here?"
"My name is Tavish." The man wore a long brown coat with black pants and a shirt.
                              "And I should care, why?"
"Why? Well because I have some information," he chuckled, "that you might want to hear."
"Oh really?" He said sarcastically. "What might I have to do for this 'information I want'?' Say it quickly before I call my guards."
"All you have to do, Doran. Is call a meeting with Kirk. Make sure that his Vulcan officer and a certain....lover of his is with him as well."

The man sat down in a chair placed in front of Doran.
                              The man was Q.
