Sitting.

Sitting and Pondering.

This was all Spock could do. He knew he couldn't go anywhere, for that would not only jeopardize the mission further, and they wouldn't take him leaving too kindly.

He was sitting in the chair that was placed in the middle of the wall that stood across from the front door. His elbows were on his knees and his head was hovering over his crossed hands. He chose a spot to concentrate absentmindedly on while he thought about every option he had.

He was pulled from his concentration by an odd thought...at least it was odd for him.

You.

You continuously popped into his mind at random moments. Spock wondered if you were okay. If Bones was okay. If everyone was okay...if you still liked him.

He feared that since he had left, you forgot about everything that happened on that day that he was....emotionally compromised.

He felt...something. He couldn't quite put a name to this feeling.

He knew he felt something bad since he thought of what would happen if you didn't feel the same way he did to you.

A bang came from the front door that pulled Spock back to reality.

He stood to open the door, but was on his guard for anything to happen.

He was mostly looking to see if the strange man from before would show back up.

He opened the door to see Doran standing there.

"Mr. Spock.'

Spock nodded in hello as Doran walked in.

"I see the clothes fit you. We didnt know what your size was so we put every size we had in the closet."

"It is fine, thank you."

Doran looked over at Spock who was standing with his arms behind his back respectively.

"Come on, you don't have to be professional all the time. Come, sit down."

Doran sat as he motioned for Spock to do the same.

Spock sat down carefully but still kept his straight posture.

"Being professional is one of Star Fleets greatest qualities in my opinion."

"Yes, Star Fleet. That organization that you claim wants to be our allies. I see..."

Spock crossed his arms in a respectful manner.

"Yes, that is what we strive to accomplish. Being Allied and have relations with other species of this universe in what we long to have."

Doran nodded slowly as if understanding, but not believing.

"Ok...well Mr. Spock, how do you expect me to believe you?"

Spock looked away from Dorans eyes for a moment to think.

"The only way I could prove my proposal to you, is if you allowed my captain to speak with you."

Doran laughed slightly a Spock's Statement.

"Spock, you must be a fool of a man to think we would let you go back to your ship."

"Thats the thing, sir. I need not go back, yet. I would only need to contact my captain."

Doran stood up.

"You expect me to just hand you your communicator to contact your ship? Highly unlikely."

"Yes, well it would not be long until thy come and try to get me back. It would be better if they came in knowing I was alive then dead."

Dorans face was one of a pondering man.

"You know, Spock....you put me in a very hard position here."

He pulled something out of his pocket and handed it to Spock. As Spock took it, he noticed it was the communicator.

"Now, Mr. Spock. I will have you know that if you pull any tricks, I will kill you and your whole ship. We never have problems in our society, so you better believe we are stocked with weapons."

Spock nodded and opened the communicator to ensure it works.

Doran stepped out of the house.

"Spock, I await your answer."
