^^My fav piano piece^^

{{Thanks everyone for 3k reads. Honestly, I started this book as a joke because I remember I wrote it while I was bored at my aunts, and I wrote this so I had an excuse ti not talk to anyone XD. The fact that people actually like it is...amazing. This chapter took me extra long because I wanted it to be good for the 3k milestone, and also because since school has started, I need to get on with practicing my trombone XD.

Love you all <3

The world below seemed more...calm.

Peaceful.

Livable.

Wind that came from the north made the trees and plant-life sway back and forth.

Your hair that you had put in a ponytail was now being pulled back by the wind, causing your head to be pulled back. It was slightly painful to say the least, but you had to keep it in for dress code regulations.

You walked closer to the group so that everyone was in a tight circle. Everyone was in sight except for one.

Spock stepped behind you and placed a hand on our shoulder.

With one swift movement her took the hair tie out of your hair, and that lead to your hair falling free. The pain was lifted, and you couldn't help but wonder how Spock noticed.

(If you dont have long hair then....I have no clue what he did for you XD Sorry)

He took his hand away from your shoulder and clasped his hands behind his back like he normally would do.

You looked back at the captain who was going over things once more, but this time you had a smile on your face.

"Alright everyone. We can not screw this up. This is probably our only chance at making peace with this planets inhabitants."

You always wondered how Jim could use such informal phrases such as "screw up" with is still sounding formal. Maybe that is just one quality that makes him such a good captain.

Since no one was in any danger this time around, your group was transported close to the settlement.

Shortly after your arrival, you were met with a group of guards that came around to guide you to Doran.

They did nothing but motion for your group to follow them.

The group consisted of You, Jim, Spock, Bones in case anything went wrong, Chekov, and Scotty so that we would be able to show them how we could help them with technology.

Every once in a while, Kirk would look back to make sure his whole team was still behind him and not kidnapped.

{{Spock's POV}}

'Why was is necessary to bring Y/N? I find it wrong that she is here to only watch and nothing more when she could get hurt.'

Spock didn't look back at you directly, but could see you from his peripheral vision.

He saw that your head was tilted slightly towards him.

'Was she looking at me? For what purpose?'

You looked away as Spock stepped back to meet beside you and match your pace.

"Why are you engaging in the act of a starring in my direction?"

You were embarrassed at his question.

"Oh...I was uh...just wondering how you could see the hair tie hurt my head."

"It was quite simple really. Human faces hold a lot more emotion and feelings in them then a human may realize. For example, I can tell that was not the only reason you were looking at me. Would I be wrong to assume starring at a specific person means to show interest?"

Again, the embarrassment washed over you, and Spock could tell.

"Well....you see," you attempted to change the subject, "I was just wondering where you got that hair tie in the first place."

Spock glance down at you from his tall height.

"I borrowed it from Ensign Chekov."

"Chekov? Why would he have one?"

"According to him, he sometimes has to pull the hair in front of his face back because it 'gets in his way while he works'."

"Oh."

{{Your POV}}

Everyone was quite after that while you continued to follow the guards to Doran.

"Please wait here," said the guard who seemed to be the most important of the three.

We formed a horizontal line so that Doran would be able to see all of us once he walked out.

The door to the building in front of you began to swing open.

The once intimidating leader of this colonization was now smiling a welcoming smile as he stepped fully out.

"Kirk. What a pleasure to see you and you crew once again, this time on more...speaking terms."

"Yes, I must say, this is much more preferable," Kirk replied

Doran tipped his head down to Spock.

"Mr. Spock. It is a great pleasure to see you here again. Not holding a grudge I hope."

Spock tipped his head more slightly in return to keep his posture in check.

"I do not hold grudges, but I will state I am fond to see as well, in what you put, more speaking terms."

"You two seem like good acquaintances," Kirk piped in.

"Well," Doran laughed halfheartedly, "When you take a hostage for days at a time, I suppose to could say a bond forms between them. A strange bond, but still a bond."

Spock looked back at Doran.

"Agreed."

{{Hello!

Guess what? I AM NOT DEAD!

Nope. I was just at band camp and they had, you guessed it, no WIFI.

So you know, that sucked.

I wrote the first half of this about a month ago, but I just finished it tonight.

I will say Im surprised that this is almost to 4K reads already!

Thanks so much!]

Love you all!
