{{If you don't like fangirling, skip this chapter...but don't skip this chapter lol.}}

You just sat on your bed for a while. Just thinking. You never really realized how lonely you were in your room, but now that you had so much fun playing Poker with your new, hopefully, friends, you wanted to have more fun like that.

You had played with your friends before, but...it wasn't the same. You felt a connection to the three goof-balls...well more like two goof-balls and one perfect logical Vulcan.

You smiled to yourself.

You couldn't think about anything else. The only thing that took your thoughts away from your new group of friends was the fact that you were hungry.

Very hungry.

You jumped off your bed to head to the cadets lounge.

As you walked in, there were only about ten people in there as well. That meant a lot of empty, and that means not having to awkwardly ask a random stranger if you could sit with them.

You sat down, and someone came over to take your order. You just ended up getting a salad so that anyone who looked at you wouldn't see....what you normally eat.

As they brought it over, you noticed someone else was walking over as well.

You lowered your head so the person would think you didn't see them.

When they sat down, you still were avoiding eye contact.

"Hey, I remember you!"

You recognized that Russian Accent. You looked up to see the curly haired Chekov.

"Oh, hello Chekov."

"Hello? That's it? Considering you were acting like I was a creep, I would think you would say something more then 'hello'."

"Oh...well to be honest...I thought you were a creep, but then I heard your very recognizable voice!"

He smiled at your comment.

"Well, I'm not here to annoy you, don't worry. I was just here to see if youre okay. You know, you did almost die from falling off a cliff."

You couldn't lie to yourself, you had forgotten all about that. You zoned out for a minute until Chekov waved his hand in front of your unresponsive face.

"Helloooo! Y/N?"

"Oh, yeah. Sorry. What did you ask?"

"I was just wondering if you were ok with your....near death experience. Not many people have one of those moments on their first mission."

"Oh...well to be honest, I hadn't really thought about it all that much."

He looked a little shocked.

"Really? Well, then you better expect to be taken on a lot more missions."

"Why is that?"

"Well, most people act odd for at least a week after their first experience with death."

"Well, I hope to be invited on more."

He smiled warningly at you.

"Well, I wont bother you anymore, Y/N."

He stood up and waved his goodbyes.

At this point, you had forget all about your salad. You didn't feel hungry anymore. You pushed it away and placed your head in your hands. You didn't have a headache, yet you felt a little light headed. Your head was slowly sinking farther and farther down until you had your arms crossed under you and your head was almost pressed up against the table.

You could only hear the mumbles of the people around you as they slowly went more and more quiet as you slowly drifted into deep thought. The problem was that you weren't really thinking about anything. You just sat there starring into the backs of your eyelids. You were so concentrated on looking into the dark area of your closed eyes that you didn't notice someone had put their hand on your forearm.

"y/n? Y/N?"

Who ever had a hold of your, they were calling your name. Their voice got louder and louder until your head shot up.

"Y/N? Are you alright?"

You looked to see a slender pale hand placed on your arm comfortingly. The man was wearing a blue shirt with perfect black hair. It was Spock.

He was crouched next to the side of your table with a almost worried look in his expression.

"Spock!"

"Yes, but is something wrong?"

"No, no. Im fine. really!"

"I dont think your lying, but I dont think you are ok."

At this point, Spock had just sit across from you. You started to blush as you were so used to when ever Spock was near you.

"No, Spock. Really, its fine."

"Its fine? The Doctor has been trying to give me lessons on bed-side, but now that I think about it....I think he needs lessons as well."

You laughed at this unintentional joke because he was funny at least to you.

"I dont find whats so funny about that. Have you not seen how he treats people?"

You laughed again at his confusion.

"No, Spock I have not seen him in his grumpy ways yet, but it was funny."

Something that you thought would never happen in anyones existence occur after you laughed.

Spock blushed....

No matter how faint it was, you could tell it was there.

You mouth opened a little in shock. Spock not only noticed that, but it looked as if he knew he was blushing by the feeling of heat rising to his face.

He turned his head down slightly.

"Well, I may be fine, but are you Spock?"

"I will asure you that...I am...fine. Yes."

"Sure, Spock. Sure."

Spock looked back up while he tried to covered up the fact that he was...emotionally compromised.

You changed the subject to something random so Spock wouldn't get more embarrassed.

You both talked for a good twenty minutes before you started getting a little tired...more like very tired.

Spock had offered to get you another drink since the one you had ordered, *favorite drink name*, had been chugged down by you during your conversation with Spock.

When he came back, you were passed out.

He smiled slightly to himself, making sure no one saw, and placed your drink down in front of you.

He picked you up and carried you out bridal style. He was given a few strange looks from any one passing him. He carried you up to your room. He was becoming accustomed to going to your room, but taking you back when you were passed out was a new thing for him.

He carefully rolled you out of his arms and onto the bed. He began to back away but was stopped by something. You had your arms wrapped around his waist.

He started blushing again, but didnt hide it since you were asleep. He carefully pulled your hands from his waist. He felt your fingers intertwine with his. He smiled to himself. He placed your hands on your stomach and pulled the covers over you. Without saying anything, he walked out quitely while making sure to turn off all the lights.
