"Captain, Sir Doran is requesting a private call with you alone."

"At what time. Mr. Spock?"

"In his words, as soon as possible."

Kirk sighed as he stood from his chair.

"Alright. Transfer the call to my office, I will respond in three minutes."

"Of course, Captain. I will-"

Spock was interrupted by a certain Russian teen walking onto the bridge.

"Mr. Spock. There is an issue. I wery big one."

Spock finished transferring the call as Kirk walked into his office.

"And that is what, Ensign?"

"Y/N...is afraid something will happen to her."

Spock became notably more worried about the situation.

"Computer, where is Lieutenant Y/N located?"

"~Lieutenant Y/N is located in cafeteria B~"

"No, I left her in her quarters. Besides, cafeteria B is closed. She cant be in there."

"Mr. Sulu, you have the con."

"Yes sir." Sulu walked away from his post and sat in the captains chair.

Spock didnt think twice before he sped to the lift. As he walked into it, he turned on his heel.

~Time Skip~

You sat at the Bar table on a tall stool. Tapping you finger on the table, you blocked out any voices that could possibly come to pass.

You knew this area was closed, but you needed to get away from everything.

"You thought you could mess with my plans, didnt you?" Q laughed.

You looked up from the table to see Q behind the counter, cleaning a glass.

Staying quiet, you ignored him.

Q dropped the glass, making a loud shattering noise run throughout the room.

Jumping slightly, you felt Q grab your shoulder and throw you to the ground.

You wheezed as you slammed down on your back.

"You see," Q sounded agitated, "You dont understand why I need to do this. If I dont...then...then I might just as well go insane."

"Q, plea-"

"No! Dont please me. I am doing an experiment that will benefit the continuum, and you are doing what? Playing with your....your....boy-toy! Stupid human word."

"Im sorry...Im-"

"No youre not. Just...wake up."

"Wake up?" you asked in a shaky voice, not wanting to get off the ground.

"Wake up. Please...wake up."

Your eyes shot open as Spock was leaning over you, trying to wake you up. You were laying on the ground as if you were knocked out.

"Y/N? Your awake..." Spock inhaled sharply as he wrapped his arms around your waist and picked your torso off the ground and held you close. Your legs stayed laying on the ground as Spock was kneeling next to you.

"Ensign Chekov said he left you in your room. Why are you here?"

You hugged yourself as Spock held you, looking around for any sign of Q.

"I needed to get away, Spock."

The flash of your silhouette came to mind. The neck braking, the ink turning red, everything.

"Spock...Im going to die."

Spock became silent as he stood up with you in his arms. He helped you stand as well, but made sure you were stable.

He kept an arm around your waist as he held the side of your face.

"Show me what you saw, Y/N"

You felt Spock enter your mind. You knew about Mind Melding, but had never been apart of it before.

"Think about what you saw."

It took you a few seconds to force yourself to think on the picture and nothing else.

The two silhouettes holding hands. You felt Spock hold you closer to his chest.

The violent neck snapping.

The red ink.

The blood.

He took his hand away from your face quickly and held it in the air next to your neck, afraid to touch anything else.

Tears were rolling down your eyes as you looked down. Spock looked at you.

"Y/N. Look at me," he said with more emotion than normal.

You continued to look down.

"Im going to die."

Spock shook his head.

"I will not allow that."

Spock gently placed his hand on you neck, and pulled you closer, pressing his lips to yours.

You fell limp in his arms as you forgot everything that had happened today and focused only on Spock.
