"Spock, what members of the away team are able to join this mission?"
"I believe all of them, Captain. Only twenty-five members of the crew are on duty due to our low need for functionality on the ship at this time." Spock placed the clip board of time states on the desk in front of the Captain in order to show him the empty time slots for any meetings that were needed for the treaty signing.
                              "Good, thats good, and what-"
Kirk was cut off by the soft ringing on the monitor located on his desk.
"A call? I wasnt expecting one."
"Captain, it is coming from the Planets surface. I could possibly be Doran."
"Yes, Spock. You may be right. Spock, stand over there, and uh...just do say anything." He motioned over to the corner of the room that was out of view of the monitor.
As Kirk answered the call, if was in fact Doran.
"Kirk, my friend. I am happy you were able to answer."
"Yes, hello. I've been here all day actually. So, what I do for you?"
"Well, I just wanted to confirm the time for our first meeting."
"First- Oh yes." Jim reached across the desk to grab the Clipboard that was placed there by Spock moments ago.
"Lets see...we have it planned for 0800 tomorrow. Is that to your liking?"
"Yes, well that is fine, unless...there is a way to make it sooner? I have something more to discuss than just the treaty."
                              "Oh? Is something the matter?"
"Not at all my friend, I just have questions about something that I would like to ask, that I believe you or Mr. Spock could answer."
"Of course, Doran. When would you want to meet then, if I may ask."
"Well," Doran looked away from the monitor as if he was talking to someone else in the room. "Would sometime today be acceptable?"
"Today? Uh...I believe I can set something up for today. I will let you know when I have a time."
"No, Captain. That is not necessary. You are my friend, so we welcome you and your crew at anytime. I just ask one thing."
                              "Yes?"
"In addition to your group, including Mr. Spock, I believe you have someone on the ship by the name of Y/N YL/N? Am I correct?"
Kirk looked up at Spock who took interest of why Doran was asking about you specifically.
"Y-Yes, I do. She has actually been on a few mission down to your planet."
"Yes, I do remember now that you mention it, but...would you be willing to bring her down to this meeting as well?"
"That can be arranged, yes. May I ask why?"
"Nothing of any importance. I believe I have a question to ask her as well."
"Of course. That is not a problem. We will be down sometime soon. Farewell, Doran."
                              "And to you too, Kirk."

As the call ended, there was a pause of silence so they both could think of what was discussed.
A few moments went by before Spock broke the silence.
"Captain, I see no reason for Y/N to be involved in this meeting, including the fact I do not know what he could possibly want to ask her."
"I dont know either, Spock. Lets just hope for the best out of all this."
"Captain, if I may, I would want to ask that Y/N be taken off the away team for this mission."
                              "Spock-"
"Because I believe there may be some for of danger for her-everyone," he corrected himself."
                              "Spock, its fine."
                              "Is it, Captain?"
"Yes, Spock. We can trust Doran. If he were to do something bad, he would've done it a long time ago, like when you all for captured for that mission."
Spock became silent at his comment.
"I regret to inform you, Captain, that that could've gone worse than it had."
"I know, Spock. I have no forgotten what had happened to you."
"I know. I just want to refrain from that happening to her considering she was asked for specifically."
"It is odd, but nothing will happen. Trust me Trust Doran as well because if this goes wrong...I dont know what will happen."
"Of course, Captain. If you may excuse me, I will gather the away team."

At this point, both you and Bones had broken into Kirk's Alcohol, sitting by the fire place, talking of funny stories from Bones' missions.
                              "Why dont I believe you?"
"It gets worse, Champ. At some point, the "God" forced Kirk to ask like a horse, and Spock began to dance and cry. Lets just say I was something I will never forget." (If you dont know what Im talking about, Im glad you have never seen it.)
"It is something that I wish to forget everyday, Doctor."
"Spock! Jesus, dont walk up on us like that. You nearly gave me a heart attack."
"My apologies, but both of you are needed for the away team."
"You're kidding? I though that mess was planned for tomorrow?"
                              "Changes always happen, Doctor."
Spock held out his hand to help you up from the chair, even though you didnt really need help.
You smiled at him as you began to walk for the door, but as Spock was ready to follow, Bones stopped him by holding up his hand.
"Mr. Spock, I would like help out of my seat as well."
Spock glared down at him, holding himself from rolling his eyes as he walked away from Bones.
                              "Rude. You arent very nice."
                              "Not to you, Doctor. No."
