You were engulfed in a new world. A new way to look at things. New characters. New faces. New you.
To put it simply, you were reading your book.
You never really thought about the fact that Spock read this series.
These were really known for being very emotional books.
The basics of the books was a girl name Jane who was trying to get rid of all of her irrational fears. Jane was born with something that made her afraid of absolutely everything that anyone else would find perfectly normal or fine. So throughout the series, she is trying to get over all of them.
It was actually very emotional. You had to admit you teared up a little during a few moments of the books, and you were only on the second book. Yet this was true, you highly doubted that Spock showed any emotion to something as a book, let alone cry.
You were so absorbed in the story. This happened often. You would get so into a book that you would zone out from anything around, and before you knew it you would have finished five chapters in what felt like a minute.
Yours was a bit worse then a few chapters...it was the whole rest of the book. Now, this wouldn't of been a problem...that is if you didn't have to ask the man whole made you heart flip for the next one.
You were not really one for having crushes. Having guys as just friends was your thing. Actually, you noticed that at the academy, you had more guys friends then girl friends.
This...thing...you had for Spock was probably the first time you actually considered.
'What are you thinking, Y/N! You cant be with the first officer! Are you crazy!'
You placed the book next to you as you face palmed.

'Stop...ok...we are gonna forget about Spock as much as we can...if thats even possible...'
You continued to think to yourself.
'You are going to march up to Spock and demand....no....politely ask for the next book.'
'You are going to act like you never had a thing for Spock.'
After you were done mentally scolding yourself, you hopped out of your chair and picked Spock's book up from the table.
You stomped out of your run, and began to march out of your room with a new confidence.
'OK. Good. We can do this. He is just a Vulcan who has a book we want to borrow.'
You walked up to one of the computers along the walls.
"Computer, where is Commander Spock currently?"
The AI made a beeping noise before it answered.
"*Commander Spock is currently on the bridge."
'Okay, Y/N. That's easy. You wont be alone.'
You walked to the bridge that you were honestly getting tired of being in.
As you got there some people looked up to see who came in, but looked back down as if you weren't important en ought to pay attention to.
Kirk wasn't in his chair. That was probably a good thing, as he would've probably asked what you were doing. You looked around, and it didn't take long to find the man himself. He was easy to spot.
He always had amazing posture, amazing hair, and oh-so obvious ears.
You walked up and reluctantly tapped on his shoulder.
