Spock held you for what seemed like hours, the only noise in the room was the back and forth of your breathing and his.

The silence was broken by the beeping of the intercom turning on. Spock's grip on you became slightly loose as he turned his head to listen.

"Spock." It was Jim's voice. "I need you on the bridge as soon as possible."

"Of course, Captain," he said more quiet than usual, still kissing you in his strange Vulcan way.

"Spock...I know Y/N is in there as well. Please inform her that Bones is requesting her presence in the Medical Bay."

You leaned your forehead into the crook of his neck as he stood up straight, still holding you.

"Of course, Captain," he repeated in a more serious tone.

He slowly let go of your hand and held the side of your face.

"I assume you heard what the Captain just said?"

You nodded as he let go of your waist but still held the side of your face.

As he let his hand fall to his side, you two were now separate. It was as it a single being had been split in two.

"I do not know when I will see you next, but I hope that it will be soon."

"I hope as well, Spock."

He looked down at the floor before turning on his heel and quickly walking out of the room, not wanting to keep the Captain waiting any longer.

You stayed standing, silently in his room. You were happy, yet felt sad at the same time.

"Thank god. Champ, I thought you'd never show up." Bones shook his head and he walked over to you.

"Im sorry, Bones. I was...busy."

"Uh-huh. Sure. Well, whatever you were doing, I need you to stay here with me.

"For what reason?"

"Well, all them up at the bridge are about to do some important things with Doran and his tribe of followers. We just didnt want you to be in any danger if...any thing were to go crazy."

"You don't think any thing like that would happen...right?"

"In my opinion, any thing could kill any one, but...this is more of request from the goblin. He asked the captain that you be exempt from any other missions involving Doran."

You furrowed your eyebrows as you turned and began to head for the door.

"Oh no you don't," he said, grabbing your arm. "Even if I don't care much for his opinion, I do know he could kick my ass if he wanted to."

He put a arm around you and dragged you over to an operating table.

"Sit," he said as he point to the table.

Without having much of a choice, you followed his orders.

"Champ...Ya see...," he sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose and stood a couple feet away from where you sat, "nothin' bad will happen. You just need to stay calm and...here," he handed you a picture of a random black blob. You assumed it was for an eye test. "Look at the pretty picture."

You rolled you eyes as he turned away from you and began to work.

Looking down at the picture, you noticed it seemed to be two people holding hands. One figure was taller than the other, and had pointy ears. Squinting your eyes, you noticed the hair on the smaller figure looked familiar. In closer inspection, you saw they were holding hands.

"What the....hell?"

The picture looked like you and Spock.

You were about to call Bones over to look at the picture, before you noticed it starting to move. The head of the figure that resembled you began to turn its head. You leaned forward to take a closer look, but the head stopped. Keeping you eye close on it you held you breath.

In a flash, the neck on your shadow figure snapped and you saw the figure fall to the ground. The ink turned red as you screamed and threw the picture to the floor, the card completely covered in red ink.

Bones quickly turned around and ran to you.

"Good god, Champ. What the hell are you yelling about?"

With a shaking hand, you pointed down that the blood red card.

Bones bent down to pick it up. It was a normal white card with a black blob in the center.

"Fine...maybe it ain't pretty, but that isn't something to yell about."

His voice faded out as your ears began to ring.

"Yes, of course. I think the death of the first officers love would really...shake things up a bit." The voice laughed quietly as you hearing slowly came back.

"Champ!" Bones was shaking you as you came back to the real world. This time, Chekov was right next to you, holding your hand with a worried look. "Oh look. It looks like she is coming back." He let go of your hand as Bones stopped shaking you.

"I cant take this any more. Chekov...just take her back to her room." He shook his head and cursed under his breath.

"Come on, Miss," Chekov said with a smile.

You followed him, still in slight shock of what you had seen.
