My birthday was held in the ancestral house own by my family. The half of the guest came from a very well known family with high standing in the society. Most of them ay business partner ni Mommy. I just turned eighteen today, How I wish my father was here. Ever since I dreamt of this, na ang Daddy ko ang maging first dance ko. But of course, it's impossible to happen. Definitely it will not going to happen. I frowned with that thought at tumingin sa sariling reflection sa salamin.

"Oh bakit malungkot yata ang debutant?" Mommy came to my way and gave me a hug.

" 'Yan smile ka na para wag na ring malungkot si Daddy.
Tama si Mommy kung nasaan man ngayon si Daddy siguradong malulungkot 'yon. Today is my day, so I should enjoy this. This is not the right time for sentiments.

"Paano hintayin na lang kita sa baba?" Hinalikan ako sa noo ni Mommy bago lumabas ng kwarto. Isinarado niya ang pinto, after a few seconds the door swung open and I saw Andrew peek on it.

"Pwedeng pumasok?" he asked but he didn't wait for my approval he let himself in anyway. Nagpaalam pa papasok din naman pala. Hay ang kulit niya, but I find it sweet. It just one of the proof that we already comfortable with each other.

"You look stunning tonight," aniya habang titig na titig sa akin. He was hook to my beauty. Good boy, dapat talaga na ako lang ang maganda para sa'yo.

I laugh a bit this guy never failed to makes my heart beat faster. "Alam ko na yan... tell me something I don't know," I joked. He smiled.

" 'Yan 'yong gusto ko sa'yo eh!"

"Anong 'yan?" png-aasar ko pa, but I want him to elaborate what he said.

"' Yong confidence mo. 'Yong pagiging straightforward mo. You say what's on your mind and you do what do you wanna do. Happy ang carefree." He smiled. I just listening to him. "You taught me how to smile...You thought me how to enjoy life."

"Honestly Andrew you're the one who taught me everything."

"Talaga? Tulad ng ano?"

"You taught me how to do my assignment." He laughed as I say that. "You taught me how to smile, dahil sa'yo hindi na masyadong mainitin ang ulo ko. Natuto akong tumawa sa malilit na bagay. You thought me how to appreciate little things and most specially...."

I was shocked when I saw the whole Aldeguer clan nang makababa kami ni Andrew. I rushes towards my grandmother and welcomed her with a hug. Bukod kay Lola ay andito rin ang mga tito, totally at mga pinsan ko both sides. It's good to know that you're surrounded with your loving family. Pinakilala ko si Andrew kay Lola.

"Godbless you iho," nakangiting sabi ni Lola habang Ibinigay ang kamay niya kay Andrew.

"So, this young gentleman is your boyfriend right?" my Tito asked teasingly. I felt my cheek burn and I knew I blushed.

Pagkatapos ng mga batian at asaran ay nagsimula na ang party. This is it! now I'm officially going to be a lady.
