Chapter 37: Face the Consequence

Zeke POV

I'm helping Uriah with the simulations.
We already did like 3 initiates, but I haven't pay attention to any of them, I just do the wires. Connections and that, Uriah is the one watching the simulations.
He asked me to take turns, so I wouldn't get bored, but I didn't wanted to.
I need time to think.
To think what I'll do next.
What I'll do next with Shauna.

We have stop fighting and decide to enjoy our times together, we never know which will be the last one.

I haven't tell her Uriah's idea. It will be like the most not-romantic proposal ever:

"We could get married" I would tell her.

"What?" She would ask confused.

"It will happen eventually anyway, why don't just do it now."

Then I just imagine her with the "wtf" look.

Yeah, that would suck.

But I'm not ready for marriage.

With marriage come the kids.
With kids come responsabilities.

I have to face the consequence and face the facts.

Married or not, you're still going to be a father.
I'm absolute not ready to be a father.

Too irresponsable.

Ready or not the kid Shauna has inside her isn't going to wait until I'm ready.
I have to love him/her.
Even through I didn't ask for a kid, I'm going to have one, so I must do it right.

I'll marry Shauna.
She'll have our son/dauther.
We'll love him/her.
And then who knows what.

I'm not going to marry her just because of the kid.
I'll propose to her cuz I love her, and I want to spend the rest of my days with her.

"Zeke! Zeke are you there? Hello?" Uriah says while shaking me.

"Uh...? What? Uh?" I come back to reality all confused.

Uriah slaps me.

"What The Fuck bro!?" I slap him back.

"Shiiiit!" He complains "you totally zoned out"

"I know but I was back and you slaped me anyway!"

"You were all confused and dumb, I had to do something"

"Whatever" I roll my eyes.

He opens the door "Andrew"

A medium size with black and green hair boy comes in.

"Sit" Uriah orders.

Finally it's over. The first round at least. They still have two more.

What's up with kids these days, they have very weird fears. I know they aren't exactlyt here fears but anyway, the simulations where so weird. After Andrew I ask Uriah to switch places bacause I was bored as hell.

One of the girls, Violet's, was she running and screaming for her life as giant light poles were about to land on her. It took her like nine minutes to calm down, when she finally gave up and let one crush her.
As everyone, she waked up screaming and traumatized.

Yeah...cuz light poles are so intimidating.

Now Uriah, Four and I are heading to the bar to have some shots, while the girls are visiting Lauren.
