< Chapter 2: The Language >

Debbie's P.O.V

I walked into the restaurant, with my hand bag while wearing this tent I call a shirt to cover my protruding stomach. I notice Justin sitting at one of the booths in the back by a window, so I made my way over to him.

“Drew!” I called out his middle name, hoping it would be better to say in public.

He looked up and smiled. “Hey,”

I slid in the booth and looked at him. “So where is my burrito?”

“You never been to Chipotle, have you?” he chuckled.

I looked at him like he forgot who he was talking to, and I think he has. “Hi, I’m Debbie, have we met?” I couldn’t contain the smile I was trying to hide. “I use to stay in North Carolina, remember? Where I stayed, there was only Taco Bells around.”

“Sorry, but I can make you one if you want?” he said standing to go.

“Okay, but I want steak, cheese, tomato, sour cream, chicken, salsa, onions, lettuce, pork, olives, banana peppers in a flour taco, please.” I grinned.

He looked at me shockingly, and then started to laugh. “What are you? Pregnant?” he said jokingly.

I down at the table, out the window and back at Justin, who eyes were as wide open as his mouth was which was pretty wide.

“Don’t say anything!” I stood up and covered his mouth.

It looked like he couldn’t breathe, so I removed my hand.

“Why didn’t you tell me this before?” he sat back down.

At a restaurant is not where I wanted to tell him this. “I don’t know, but I haven’t really told anyone and we were kinda fighting.”

“But you still could have told me,” he played in his hair. “Not to make this conversation weirder than it already is, but does Drake know what happened between me and you?”

WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BRING THAT UP? EVERYTHING WAS GOING SO GOOD!

“Of course I did, I don’t keep like keeping stuff from him,”

I didn’t tell him that I felt like it is my fault that Drake is the way he is now, or how much I regret even telling Drake what happened. If I didn’t tell Aubrey what happen, he would be walking right now, and I hate walking around with a sense of guilt.

“Just get me the burrito, please,” I grinned wide.

“Well you got enough food to feed everyone in your house,” Justin chuckled as we sat in the drive way. I know what you’re probably thinking, and no, I didn’t ride with Justin, I drove myself. I drove home and got his car because I didn’t want to go in the house yet, Makenzee is still here, ugh.

“Well I am eating for two you know,” I used a proper English accent.

“I can’t believe you’re four month pregnant,” Justin stared at me stomach, then my eyes. “When are you going to tell Scooter?”

I exhaled a deep breath I didn’t know I was holding in. “When the time is right, or when I’m in labor; in fact, either one is good for me.” I giggled.

I begin to get out the car, food and belly intact. “Are you coming?” I look at Justin and the fact that he wasn’t getting out the car. “Come on, I need someone to talk to while Makenzee is here,”

He looked at me with caution before getting out the car.

“Thank you,” I held my stomach.

As we walked in the house, the first person I made contact with was Makenzee. I did a fake smile before walked in the kitchen.

“Hey baby,” Drake said, as he heard me fumble around in the kitchen.

I said a loud “Hey,” before I put the food in the microwave.

Justin was tapping away at his phone, and occasionally looking at me as I cleaned. “Do you think it’s a good idea to do that?”

“What? Clean?”

“Yeah, because of, you know,”

I laughed. “It’s fine, and besides, I rarely have energy to do anything, so I need to do this.”

As I finish I saw a little figure sat by the doorframe of the kitchen. “Tori, I see you.” I guess she calls herself hiding but it was cute. When she knew I saw her, she laughed so hard that she fell backwards.

I barely talked to Makenzee since she has been here. When we start talking it always end in a argument. So I thought it was best to not say anything. This shit is killing me.

Every once and awhile, I would see Makenzee frowning everytime Debbie would give something to Tori, or play with her. Does she not know who live here? Now don’t get me wrong, I would never call a female a bitch to her face, but she is acting like one. It’s almost nighttime!

“Well, I have to go,” Makenzee said, as she got up and walked towards the door.

I waved as she walked out the door.

“Debbie?” I yelled as I moved myself from my wheelchair to the couch.

She walked in and plopped on the couch beside me. “I missed you,” she kissed my forehead.

“I missed you too,” I said, as I give her a deep and intense kiss that made her arch her back.

Justin walked out of the kitchen with Tori on his hip. Still don’t know how I feel about him in my house after what he did.

“I gotta go meet Scooter, wanna come?” Justin eyed Debbie as he sat Tori on the floor.

“Naw, I’ll go tomorrow.” she smiled before laying her head on my shoulder.

After Justin left, we laid on the couch talked about our day.

“I told Justin that I’m pregnant.” she played in my curls.

“Why?”

“Because he is going to find out anyway, so I just wanted to get it over with,”

I pecked her lips. “I think Makenzee know what happened to me,”

She sat up. “Really? Why do you say that?”

“Because she told me,”
