Things change & people grow
The world turns fast & I move too slow
Blues & greys, nights & days, ripples & waves.

Time spurs us to move ahead
Emotions dwell on what was once said
Wants & needs, birds & bees, plants & seeds
Two sides of the same coin it seems to be

Sunlight is rather harsh midday
And the midnight moonlight I wish would stay
Dark & light, plenty & blight, blindness & sight
Just hope it might be alright
