To say that things with me and Danny were on the gutter was an understatement. We nod at one another from time to time which is only been for three days. But whenever we make an eye contact he'd always be the one to break away, for sure I knew he was still guilty for what had occurred between us but I don't want to lose a friend over something like this, this though had occurred to me not too long ago. How much I cared for Danny as a friend, a friend . Someone I promised myself I wouldn't cooperate with and yet I'm surrounded by lots of them all in which I'm beginning to care for.
"So are you excited for your birthday?"
Kymae pulls me away from my thought.
"Huh? Yeah sure"
Honestly I didn't even hear what she said only the word birthday which was coming in an upcoming weeks. I turn to her which her eyes seem to scan me already knowing that something is up.
"Yes Ky?"
Her calculating eyes narrow down on me.
"What's up with you- and before you deny don't even try because a blind man can see that you are bothered"
A person can't see how broke I am.
"No nothing is bothering me-"
If its possible for someone's eyes to get narrower then Ky sure can. She narrows her eyes at me giving me that knowing look. Was it my secret to tell her that Danny somehow had a little crush going on with me. I sigh as she keeps her stare at me which for sure creeped me out a bit.
"Okay okay fine I'll tell just stop with the creepy stare."
She only laughs as I gave her an eye roll.
"Yeah yeah now speak"
"Okay, okay but promise me you won't say anything to anyone its not my secret to tell"
She only rolls her eyes and answered with yeah , yeah.
"Okay so remember that one day in the cafeteria where I threw beans at Danny"
"Oh yeah I remember that , that was hilarious."
We both laugh at this remembering that day then I became serious.
"Well when Danny ran after me he kinda almost but I stopped him from kissing me"
