The next day...

"Wow, this is cool." Juliet muttered as she admired the transformation of the garage before her.

Matt had kept to his promise and arranged with his brother to take some time out to speak to Juliet. Therefore with Sophie still at Aaron's this morning, Juliet had managed to head out before she came home full of questions and tried to stop her.

"My brother turned it into a gym years ago. He doesn't really use it anymore." Matt explained as both of their attention gazed around the room.

Although it was much smaller, it did almost mimic the gym that Aaron trained in. It had most of the equipment minus the huge cage in the centre where the real fights actually took place. Instead, they had exchanged it for a much smaller ring that held just enough space to train in.

"Was that before he got kicked out of the gym?"

"No, after."

"So he did want to continue fighting?" Juliet tried to clarify with caution. She didn't want to push Matt too much but she felt like she needed to know.

Getting to know Kieran was the closest step she'd have to understand her brother and she couldn't think of anything more important than that right now.

"Yeah, he didn't stop until your brother passed away. They used to train here together sometimes." Matt explained and his voice was so monotone it was difficult to judge how he really felt about all of this.

"Was Andrew not allowed at the gym anymore?"

"No, he was. He just came here sometimes because of Kieran."

"Oh right." Juliet nodded her head before bucking up the courage to begin exploring this place.

It was crazy to think that Andrew had been in here before. That this place had been somewhere he spent some of his time and now she was the one standing in this room. The happiness she felt bubbling in her stomach was something many wouldn't understand however, to her this felt incredible.

"I can show you some photos if you like." Matt's voice made Juliet jump as he had suddenly appeared right behind her.

One moment he had been stood at the other side of the room, keeping all distance and now he was holding no reserves.

"Okay..." Juliet nodded her head as she watched Matt begin searching through a nearby cupboard and pulling piles of paper out.

"Kieran used to have them all framed and on display but I think it got too tough for him."

Finally finding the few he had been looking for, Matt immediately passed them in Juliet's direction and she apprehensively took them from him.

She couldn't shake the feeling of unease due to doing this without Sophie. She knew her sister would be mad that she'd come over here without even telling her as she'd worry like crazy. However, Juliet knew that if she didn't do this now and on her own, there was a chance Sophie would hold them back from finding any answers.

After finding out the truth about what happened to Andrew, Sophie had lost trust in so many people. She'd even lost trust in Toni who she had always looked to for reassurance in the past. She feared everyone was an enemy and that meant Juliet was having to suffer the consequences of that too.

"What do you think?" Matt urged for her reaction when Juliet remained still and silent as her full attention lay on the photos in front of her.

The first one was a photo of Andrew and Kieran in the ring. They had posed for the photo as though they were mid-fight and it truly did look like they were competitors.
