"Wakey, wakey! Rise and shine darling!" The voice of Aaron's housemate Jamie, echoed throughout the hallway as he neared closer and closer. "Wake up. Wake up, wake up!"

Aaron's body was unwillingly lifted from it's deep sleep in response to Jamie's demands. He immediately regretted the fact that he hadn't locked his bedroom door as it was only a matter of seconds before he came charging through.

"Morning jog time! Get up." He continued to shout and Aaron let out a long groan as he urged the sleeping body beside him even closer.

He didn't know how but Sophie was yet to wake up from the racket however, he guessed she was likely holding onto her sleep with every power she had.

It had been a matter of days since their engagement and everything still felt like a dream. Neither of them had left each other's side since and it didn't look as though she was too willing to let that happen now.

"Jamie, fuck off." Aaron muttered as he let his own eyes close once again however, his friend wasn't up to listening and made his way over to the bed.

"You need to train! Reck is going to fucking kill you."

"Do you think I really give a shit? I'll do it later."

"You have a fight in a month, dude."

Since proposing to Sophie a few days ago, Aaron's trainer, Reck hadn't hid his distaste in regards to the whole thing. He had been fuming and that was probably an understatement. Aaron had still not let Sophie know, preferring to keep it from her however, he knew it would get out soon enough.

He was supposed to have been training for the past few days but instead missed it to spend them with Sophie. The brand new engagement meant the pair just wanted to soak up every second of the excitement however, it was having a bit of a backlash on his training and testing Reck's patience.

"Yeah and I'll train tomorrow. I want one more day with my girl, is that too much to ask? I don't think so." Aaron bit, frustrated that this whole thing had resorted to one of his friends getting involved.

He knew that Reck had been texting Jamie to get through to Aaron and it annoyed him that his friend was willing to let it happen. Aaron loved fighting and didn't plan on giving it up anytime soon but he wanted a few days off and it was being made to seem like the end of the world.

"No but-" Jamie began before the body curled up into Aaron's side suddenly caught both of their attention.

Shifting in Aaron's arms, Sophie ran her hands over her eyes as their bickering brought some wake into her.

"What is going on?" She muttered causing Aaron to instantly let out an aggravated sigh.

"You had to come charging in here and wake her, didn't you?" He bit looking towards Jamie who just held his hands up.

"I'm leaving in five minutes for a jog. If you want to get your soppy arse in gear, then I'll meet you downstairs."

Jamie glimpsed at Sophie one last time before he began heading for the door, in hope his friend would see sense and follow after him. Things didn't seem to be going his way though as Aaron picked up a pillow and threw it towards him.

"You may as well leave now, man. You're going on your own."

"Ha! You missed!" Jamie called back as he slammed the door shut, allowing the soft material to bounce off the back of it instead.

"It got you out though, didn't it?" Aaron called back before hearing Jamie head off down the stairs shouting things he couldn't quite make sense of.
