As Jack dashed off down the hallway, Aaron was filled with relief as he finally thought he had been left in peace to run over everything he had done today in his mind. However, unfortunately for him that wasn't the case.

When Jack answered the door, he didn't just open it to Jess stood there, she was also joined by Sophie. Jack had messaged her when Aaron had come home earlier and insisted that she should probably come over tonight. Although Aaron had told Sophie that he would be too tired and horrible company, Jack had other plans and knew it was what he needed.

"Babe, what are you doing here?" Aaron turned to look at Sophie with clear shock on his face as she walked into the kitchen.

"I missed you too." She mocked with a small yet concerned smile across her lips.

She could immediately tell how exhausted he looked and that filled her with so much worry. This was the exact reason Aaron hadn't wanted to see her as he knew how much stress it would cause her witnessing him like this.

"Sorry, I just didn't expect you." He saved himself before reaching out to take Sophie's hand and guiding her towards him. "I'm glad you're here."

As Aaron leaned forward to kiss Sophie, her hand was instantly pressed to his chest and managed to momentarily prevent him.

"I mean, you could sound a little more convincing." She teased before running her thumbs underneath the bags under his eyes.

Watching as a tired smile spread across his lips, Sophie then took that opportunity to make the move and press her lips gently to his. She instantly felt that spark throughout her body as it had been almost a week since she had been able to touch him. That week had felt like months so she was appreciating every second of this moment.

"I love you." She breathed as they briefly pulled away and there was so much meaning and desperation behind her eyes. Sophie knew that even if he wouldn't be too happy to take it, he needed some support and general love right now.

He had been in training non-stop for days, doing a sport that took such a serious and cold mindset. Therefore, Aaron had lacked the love and care he got daily from his fiancée.

"I love you too." He breathed before urging Sophie's lips back to his.

"Thank you for the show but I'm not going to give you an applause or anything so you can stop now." Jack mocked as he and Jess made their way into the room.

Aaron's hand extended around Sophie's body where he immediately stuck his middle finger up in his direction. While Jess couldn't help but laugh, Jack faked a shocked expression and returned the gesture like they were both 15 years old.

"Don't look!" Jack gasped as he turned to look at Jess the moment Sophie and Aaron continued. "It will haunt you for life!"

Jess continued to laugh as Jack immediately covered her eyes with his hands. She absolutely loved this childish and playful side to him; it was as though he didn't have a care in the world.

As he began to guide her into the living room, Jess caught her foot on the edge of a rug causing her body to fall forwards. She felt Jack grip onto her arm that little bit tighter as they both managed to save herself from the fall.

"Watch your step." He teased with a huge grin on his face.

"I would if I could actually see!"

As Jack did finally free her eyes, they both settled down onto the sofas and began sorting through a number of movie options for the night. This was such an odd experience for Jack as he had never had a girl over just to watch a film however, it was something he was eager to try.
