Jess / Sophie
"Hey!" Jess smiled as she took a seat down beside Sophie outside the Uni's coffee shop, practically dropping her heavy pile of books she was carrying in her hands.
Her attention then went to the unrecognisable guy sat beside her and Sophie noticed her confused gaze, so quickly began making the introductions.
"This is Corey, Corey this is Jess."
As the pair exchanged brief hello's, Corey then got up to go and get himself another drink, leaving Sophie free to be questioned for details. However, she didn't even need to ask before she was already being filled in.
"He's helping me with some shitty project I have to do." Sophie sighed, pushing her laptop towards Jess. "We have to design some clothes which is easy enough but they're also making us create a whole brand and talk about profits and shit. I got an E in my business A Level. I don't know any of this."
While Sophie was stressing over this whole thing, Jess couldn't help but laugh.
"and you just so happen to find a really hot guy to help you out? How do find these people?!" Jess stressed, considering the only guys she had spoken to since being here were Jack, Aaron and those she met when with Sophie.
"I found him on facebook." Sophie shrugged her shoulders as if it was no big deal. "I stalked the business course page and he was a member."
"So you were scouting out someone to help you study and he was the only one who met your criteria?"
"Yes! I had to find the best considering I knew you'd be around." Sophie began with a grin over her face causing Jess' mouth to drop open. "He's single too so if you fancy it..."
"Sophie!"
"What? He's a nice guy... well, he seems like a bit of an arse too but still nice. He's Jack Lawrence 2.0 but seems to have a few more manners."
Before Jess could show anymore of her shock towards Sophie's forwardness, Corey began approaching them once again causing both girls to stop talking. Jess hoped he hadn't realised but she was automatically blushing as Sophie continued to pull teasing faces at her.
"I'm going to need this for the next few hours." He placed a coffee down on the table before kicking his legs up onto one of the chairs that was beside Jess. "Have you seen her maths skills? They're shit."
"They can't be that bad." Jess grinned, turning to look at Sophie who was now rolling her eyes.
"Thank you."
"If you sold a top for £50 and it cost you £10 for fabrics, £5 for manufacturing and £3 to post it. How much profit would you make Sophie?" Corey asked with a raised brows and Sophie looked at him blankly for a moment.
"I study fashion! Not numbers. Give me a break." She sighed; gripping onto her hair in frustration for how complicated she was finding this, only causing Corey to laugh.
"If you actually listened to what I was saying, you'd understand it."
Trying to help Sophie with something she wasn't particularly interested in was not the easiest job in the world. She would switch off within seconds and even if you did have her attention long enough to explain it, she would forget it when you tested her. It was an ongoing struggle to try and help her get her head around it all however, Corey was persevering and so was she.
"Maybe I should leave you both to this." Jess chuckled, getting ready to stand to her feet before Sophie practically pulled her back down.
"No! Please don't leave me." She faked desperation. "I will not survive. Tell me about what happened with Jack."
