Sophie / Jess

Sophie managed to wake this morning with the biggest smile on her face as she finally felt as though things were looking up. Aaron had put in effort the previous night to try and make it up to her and if things continued as they were, she didn't see the need for any breakup to happen.

She knew it wasn't likely that things would run smoothly for long before they had another argument however, she hoped it would be back to minor bickering which was much easier to get over.

"Babe." Sophie whispered as she ran her hand across his forehead before replacing it with her lips. "Do you want tea or a coffee?"

Sophie watched as Aaron's lips turned up into a smile and without even opening his eyes, he reached out to pull her closer into his body.

"Mm, I could definitely get used to this wakeup call again." He mused, clearly showing he had truly missed it.

"Tea or coffee?" Sophie grinned as he finally opened his eyes and ran his hand down the length of her arm that was wrapped around his torso.

"Coffee, please."

With Aaron's quick decision, Sophie reluctantly moved from her warm position cuddled up to his body and got out of bed. Grabbing a hoodie off the side, she slipped on her jeans from the night before considering she didn't want to risk yet another awkward morning run in with one of his housemates.

It had happened before and she definitely seemed more embarrassed than Aaron's housemate had been to see her in nothing but a t-shirt, barely covering her body. It was definitely not something she wanted a repeat of.

...

As she made her way into the kitchen, she could already hear someone rustling about inside, so slowly peaking her head around the door it was then she was met with a sight she wasn't expecting to see.

"Jess?! What the-" She began before Jess literally jumped in fright at her unexpected voice.

"Oh my God, Sophie. You scared the life out of me." Her hand flew to her chest as she leaned back against one of the kitchen counters.

"What are you doing here?"

Jess could see the complete horror over her best friend's face as she was clearly making judgements before she even knew the full story.

"Please tell me you didn't..." She began before Jess frantically shook her head.

"No, no. Oh my God, no. Of course not."

Although Jess was desperately trying to reassure Sophie that she definitely had not slept with Jack, Sophie was still confused over what was going on here. If she hadn't spent the night with Jack then why had she stayed over?

"It just got really late and he'd been drinking so couldn't drive me home."

"So you slept in his bed?"

Although she was trying to act like she was calm, Sophie was most definitely anything but on the inside.

"He slept on the sofa." Jess clarified, trying to stress that the whole thing was as innocent as it could get.

"Okay good. You had me worried."

Glimpsing over to the cupboard Jess had open and had previously been looking through, Sophie then leaned down to the one she knew held exactly what Jess was looking for

"Were you looking for these?" She teased as she held out the tea bags causing Jess to laugh.

"Yeah, thanks and please wipe that look off your face."
