-Kara's POV-

As Mon-el grabs the rest of our bags from the car, I stay in the apartment with the kids. I can't believe they are ours.
We are parents.

I am sat on the sofa with Isaac asleep on my chest. It has been a long day for a 7-month-old baby so I am not surprised.
Brynlee is sitting next to me, watching paw patrol on TV. She had never watched it before and it was the first thing that came up on the kids' channel.
"Mommy?" Brynlee asked as if she is asking permission.
“Yes, baby?” I ask her as she turns her back to the TV and looks towards.
“Daddy?” she asks as she points to Mon el as he walks in through the front door. “Yes, that's Daddy” I respond with a smile as she looks up at me happily.
“Bryn” she smiles happily as she points to herself.
“That is also right, well done” I smile back.
she leant her back against my side and I placed a gentle kiss in her hair.
Not a few seconds later, Mon-el walks in again with the last few bags and the boxes from their car seats.
"Okay, what's going up first?" he asks loudly, causing Isaac to wriggle in his sleep.
"Mon el be quiet! Can you please set up the travel cot first so I can put Isaac in it" I ask.
"Okay' he answers as he finds the box with the travel cot.
It doesn't take Mon-el very long to Assemble his travel cot. He places it in the corner of our room which is the only space we have left.
Isaac stirs for a minute when I first place him down into his cot but then he settles down and falls back asleep again.
Mon-el unpacks all of Isaac's stuff while Bryn helps me put all of her clothes into her bedroom.
"Mommy?" she questions as we finish taking all the tags off her clothes.
"Yes, baby" I answer as I stand back up onto my feet.
"When dinner?” " she asks as I take her hand and lead her into the kitchen.
"It is 5 o'clock so we can start dinner now," I tell her but as I look through the cupboards and the fridge, I suddenly remember that we still. Need to go shopping.
"Looks like we are going to have to get takeout," I tell the small child sat on the stools at the island.
"Mon el!" I yell.
"Yeah" he replies.
"Can we get some pizza because there is nothing for dinner?" I ask.
"Of course babe" he replies as he grabs the car keys.
"I will grab it, what do you want?" he asks as he stands in front of me and wraps his arms around my waist.
"Bryn, would you like some mini pizzas," I ask her.

"Yes," she cheers excitedly as she throws her arms in the air.
"Okay, so we need a ham and pineapple pizza and 2 mini pizzas? One cheese and one pepperoni?" Mon-el asks as he looks into my eyes and smiles.
"Yeah, that will do" I smile back at him.
"Okay see you in a bit babe," he says as he places a quick kiss on my lips and let's go of my waist.
"Wait! I go? " Bryn begs.
"Okay princess, let's go" Mon el replies as he lifts her off the stool and holds her hand tightly as they walk out the door, waving goodbye.

---------- 15 minutes later ----------

The door makes a loud screeching sound as it is thrown open and Mon-el and Bryn enter the apartment laughing.
"Mommy, pizza!" Bryn shouts excitedly.
"Okay, okay I'm coming" I chuckle as I hop off the couch but not before I hear a cry from our bedroom.
I quickly detour and walks towards our bedroom where Isaac is.
I lean over Isaac's make do cot to find his screaming his little lungs out and wriggling.
"Hey there little dude, I'm here now," I comfort him as I lift him out of the travel cot and place him in my arms.
"Are you hungry because the last time you were fed was a couple of hours ago at least?" I ask him, knowing I'm not going to get a reply.
I walk into the kitchen to find Mon el assembling the highchair as Bryn waits anxiously for her pizza.
I grab a jar of mashed sweet potato from the cupboard and a small disposable plastic spoon because we haven't got any baby cutlery yet.
I sit down next to the blue highchair as Mon el straps him in. I place a couple pieces of pizza on to my plate so that when Mon el starts to eat, he leaves me with none or very little.
I open the jar and start to feed Isaac slowly. He takes it willingly every time and finishes the jar. I pass him a few grapes cut into quarters as he eats them himself and I start to eat my dinner.
"Me not like it" Bryn states.
"Okay well place it on Daddy's plate and try the plain tomato and cheese one. You might like that one better" I suggest to her as I dig into my own.
