-Kara's POV-
"Oh my Rao, that was a complete disaster" I sigh as we walk back into the apartment.
"Yeah, well kids aren't as easy as some people think" Mon el replies with a smirk as he pulls his shoes off and places them on the shoe rack before helping Bryn with hers.
"I think what we all need is an early night," I suggest as I place Isaac in his new bouncer.
"Kara, it is only half 6. It even too early for Isaac" Mon el complains as he opens the fridge and grabs a bottle of water.
"I wasn't suggesting we go to bed now, I just think we all need an early night so we are up and ready for the day tomorrow" I suggest as I sit on the sofa.
Bryn runs up the sofa and sits next to me, placing her head on my stomach.
"Sorry Mommy," she apologies sadly.
"It's okay," I reply as I place a kiss on her head and I wrap my arms around her small figure.
-Mon el's POV-
"So what do you want to do until bedtime?" I ask as I take a seat next to them on the couch.
"Can we finish my bedroom?" Bryn asks sleepily.
"Sure Princess" I answer enthusiastically as I take her hand and we run towards her room.
She helps me finish the cupboard and then we build her little bedside table which only takes us about 20 minutes.
Alex painted her room earlier so it was now all dry so she helps me empty all the bags and put her clothes and toys away where they belong.
As we pull the toys out of their packets and put them in her toy box, Bryn starts to become more and more sleepy by the minute. She tried to fights to keep her eyes open but I know she will not be able to do it for too long so I grab her hello kitty pyjama t-shirt and shorts and I get her changed before picking her up in my arms and carrying her into the living room.
"Hey Babe," Kara says with a smile when she notices us.
"Hey" I reply as I lean down and place a quick kiss on her lips.
"What's up with Bryn?" she asks as she pauses the TV.
"She's tired but doesn't want to admit it" I answer.
I start to walk around the apartment like you do with babies, gently rocking her back and forth and within minutes, she falls fast asleep.
I carry her back into her room and I tuck her into bed before switching on her little love heart nightlight and leaving the door open a crack.
