Effortless And Handsome

"So have you found the guy yet?" I ask as swallow the last piece of my pancake.
"What guy?" Winn asks with confusion written all over his face.
"You know the Obsidian Flame, James, the guy you have been searching for for 2 weeks? That guy?" I ask, frustrated.
"Oh yeah, we found him on Tuesday" Winn chuckles. "All we had to do was cut off his radiation supply and he walked right into our lap".
"So do you have another criminal to catch?" I ask as I walk over to the sink, placing my plate on top of the pile of pots waiting to be washed.
"No, otherwise I wouldn't be here would I?" Winn chuckles as he too takes his plates over to the sink.
"So do you think you will be able to look after the kids tomorrow night while Mon-el and I go out?" I ask Winn once he is out of ear range from Bryn.
"Ohh, are you and Mon-el going on a date?" he mocks.
"No, come on I told you this. We need to go shopping because it's Bryn's 3rd birthday in a week and we need to go shopping for party stuff and presents" I say annoyed.
"Oh yeah, I forgot. Sure I can look after them" he replies with a smile.
We stand in silence, leaning on the island before a deep, familiar voice pulls me out of my daydream.
"Look it's one of my favourite girls" Mon el laughs as he runs to Bryn and lifts her off her chair, spinning her around in the air.
Her laugh and bright smile are contagious so the minute she laughs, everyone else joins in, including Isaac.

-Mon El's POV-

"Hi, Daddy" Bryn smiles brightly up at me.
"Hi baby" I reply before placing a kiss on her nose.
I hear a squeal from below me and I look down to see Isaac smiling up at me.
"Oh look, my favourite boy in the whole world is here too" I smile as I try to unclip Isaac from his highchair with my free hand but it doesn't work.
I feel a hand lightly rest on my lower back as Kara stands next to me and unbuckles Isaac from his chair and places him in my arms.
"Hey Dude" I smile as I place a kiss on his head.
"You guys are so domestic right now it is killing me over here" I hear Winn laugh from behind me.
"I'm sorry that you're jealous" I laugh as I turn around and walk towards the island.
"Me... Jealous of you. As if. Why would I be jealous?" Winn asks.
"Because I look so handsome and I make it look effortless" I reply with a smile.
"Dude, Kara literally had to just unbuckle Isaac for you" Winn laughs as I hand Isaac over to Kara so that she can run him a bath.
"I was one-handed, have you ever tried it? It's harder than it looks" I reply as I sit on one of the stools and I move Bryn so she is sat on my lap.
"He has no clue what he is talking about," I say to Bryn as she giggles in return. She doesn't even know what I'm talking about.
