-Kara's POV-

"Kara we're home!" Mon-el yells as they walk through the front door with 3 big bags.
"Wow, that's a lot of stuff. How big is this Wii?" I ask as I walk over to them with Isaac wrapped tightly in my arms.
"We didn't just buy the Wii. We bought the Wii fit board and a whole load of games too" Mon el says as he starts to pull box after box out of the white carrier bags.
"Mommy Mommy!" Bryn yells excitedly as she shakes my trouser leg.
"What is it, Bryn?" I ask as I run my free hand through her curly blonde locks.
“Daddy got Mario Kart!" she yells happily.
"Great!" I laugh as she starts to dance in excitement.
"I will set this up and you can relax, it will only take me a couple of minutes," Mon el says confidently as he carries the Wii box towards the TV.

__________ 1 hour later __________

"I can't do it!" Mon-el exclaims as he throws his hands in the air in frustration.
"Why can't you do it?" I ask him from the couch where Bryn is watching Paw patrol on Mon el's phone and Isaac and I are watching puppies dance. They are so cute.
"There are too many wires!" he says angrily.
"Okay just call Winn. I bet he will know what to do”.

-Mon El's POV-

"Hello?"
"Hey, Winn".
"Mon-el, hey. What's up?"
"I need some help?"
"Help with what?"
"Setting up a Wii".
"Ahh... That my friend I can do".
"Great".
"How far have you got?"
"Umm... Nowhere. There are too many wires and plugs and buttons I don't know what to do".
"Okay well first find the red, green and white holes on the back of the TV. They should say input above them".
"Umm... Okay... Right found them".
"Great! Now take the white cable on the Wii and plug it into the white hole".
"Okay, done it".
"Plug in the red cable into the red slot".
"Yep done".
"Now plug the yellow cable into the green plug".
"Umm... Okay".
"Now you should be able to switch on your TV and cycle through the imputed channels until you find the Wii".
"Okay great. Thanks, Winn".
"No problem. Say hi to Kara and the kids for me".
"Will do. Bye Winn".
"Bye Mon el".

"Right Kara, I've got it working!" I shout proudly as I start sifting through the games.
"Coming!" Kara yells from our bedroom.
After looking through all the games, I settle on either Mario Kart or the latest Just Dance.
"Daddy I playing too" Bryn demands as she runs in from our bedroom room.
"Okay. Do you want to play Mario Kart or Just Dance?" I ask her as she sits on my lap.
"Dance!" she chooses excitedly as she starts to dance on the sofa.
"Okay let's have a go while we wait for Mommy to put Isaac to sleep.
"Yes!" she agrees happily as she jumps off my lap and grabs one of the remotes.
I show her how to put the strap around her tiny wrist before we both search through the songs.
"I want that one Daddy," Bryn says as she points to on the floor by Jennifer Lopez.
"I want moves like Jagger," I tell her.
"That one!" Bryn argues.
"Moves like Jagger" I insist.
"Daddy!" she moans.
"Fine, we will do Jennifer Lopez" I groan as I click the song and it starts.
Throughout the whole song, Bryn was beating me by miles. She is so good. How could someone this small beat me at dancing? I thought I was the dancing champion and now I have to step down to my 2-year-old daughter. I am ashamed…
"Haha, I won Daddy" Bryn laughs as it counts out our scores.
"That's not fair" I moan but with a big smile across my face.
"Did you start without me?" Kara asks as she walks into the room.
"Mommy, I won! " Bryn giggles as she runs up to Kara who lifts her up into her arms.
"Wow, well done" Kara cheers as she places a kiss on her head.
"Mommy, you want to play with me?" she asks.
"Sure" Kara agrees as she places Bryn on the floor and I pass her my remote before taking a seat on the sofa.
"What song do you want to play?" Kara asks.
"You choose Mommy".
"Wait... How does Mommy get to choose and I didn't?" I ask with a fake look of hurt on my face.
“ Girls are better than boys," Bryn says proudly.
"Who taught you that?" Mon-el asks.
"Auntie Alex" she replies with a cheeky grin on her face.

-Kara's POV-

As Mon-el and Bryn argue whether boys or girls are better, my phone starts ringing.
As I pull it out of my pocket I see that it is Alex.
I put my remote down on the floor before walking into the kitchen and taking a seat at the island and answering the phone.

"Hey, Kara".
"Hey, Alex, What's up?"
"I have an idea. A really good idea".
"What is it?"
"A holiday!"
"What do you mean a holiday?"
"We should go on a holiday".
"We as in you and me or all of us?"
"Well You, me, Mon-el and the kids".
"Why?"
"Because Kara, then I can get to know the kids better. We could even invite Mom".
"That would be pretty cool".
"Of course it would. I have found a place in the woods we could go. It's on telly all the time".
"Ibiza?"
"No Kara not Ibiza. Center Parcs. Ibiza doesn't even have trees, it has beaches".
"Alex! Center Parcs is in England!"
"I know but it would be so cool. We can get the plane from National city to Glasgow in Scotland. Then we drive from Glasgow down to Penrith and into Center Parcs which is about 2 hours".
"Alex the holiday idea is great but I don't think taking a 2 year old and a 7 month old on a plane into another country is a good idea".
"Come on Kara it will be great. Center Parcs is like a big forest with a village inside. They have loads of lodges to stay in and a village center that has a huge swimming pool inside it where we can take the kids and a shopping center with loads of restaurants and shops. They even have a sports plaza and lots of activities that kids can do. It would be so fun!"
"It sounds great Alex but it would be really hard taking 2 kids with us. We are still getting used to everyday life with them, but going away from home… That would be tough".
"Kara there are going to be 3 or 4 adults depending whether Mom comes so that's 2 adults per child. Please Kara. It's not like you have anything to do here anyway. They still haven't found the Obsidian Flame".
"What about work?"
"Take a week off. Please Kara just say yes".
"Fine it think it's a good idea, I just need to discuss it will Mon el first".
"Okay great, I will call Mom".
"But Mon el hasn't agreed yet".
"Kara, Mon el is obviously going to say yes. We leave in a week".
"Wait you have already booked it?"
"Yes, bye Kara".
"Wait..."
