Shopping With Daddy

-Mon El's POV-

"Yum!" Bryn yelled laughing, once she had finished her second slice of ham and pineapple pizza.
"That's my girl" I laugh as I walk behind her and she turns around in her seat so she is facing me.
I lean down and she places a small peck on my cheek.
"Thank you, Daddy," she says happily.
"No problem princess" I chuckle as I take her plate from the table and walk over to the sink so that I can wash them all.
Once I have finished washing and drying all the plates, I walk into our bedroom to find Kara bouncing Isaac on our bed while he squealed of excitement and Bryn is building one of the princess jigsaws that I bought while Kara and her went clothes shopping.
"Hey princess," I say as I take a seat on the floor next to her.
"Hi, Daddy" she mumbles as she concentrates on the puzzle in front of her.
I give her a quick peck on the cheek as I watch her bite her lip as she tries to figure what piece to add next.
"Are you excited to meet your Auntie Alex and Uncle Winn tomorrow?" I ask her as I sit beside her.
"Yes!" she giggles excitedly.

“I have an idea, would you like to go shopping with Daddy and we can go and pick out a dress for the dinner tomorrow?” I ask.
“Yes” she squeels excitedly as she jumps to her feet, knocking some of the puzzle pieces across the floor.  “Okay, but we need to ask Mommy first," I tell her.
"Okay," she replies as she jumps up, abandoning her jumbled puzzle pieces and runs towards Kara.
"Mommy, Mommy, please shop dress with Daddy? " she begs
“What was that baby?” Kara asks, confused by the jumble of words that fell out of Bryn's mouth.
“We would like to go shopping for a dress for tomorrow's meal” I correct.
"Umm... Alright you can go but only 1 outfit okay and don't stay out too late because you need an early night tonight ready for tomorrow's busy day" Kara replies smiling.
"Thank you Mommy!" Bryn squeals as she places a kiss on Kara's cheek and comes running towards me.
I scoop her up into my arms as I laugh. I put her back down on the ground and tell her to grab her coat from her room and she speeds off in a hurry.
I kneel in front of Kara and place a sweet kiss on her lips while I wrapping my arms around her waist.
"I'm so happy," I confess while grinning ing the biggest grin I have ever grinned.
"I know, me too" she chuckles as I place another kiss on her lips. As Kara places her head on my shoulder, I feel a tug on my shirt as Bryn tries to pull me away.
"Daddy, time to go" she smiles as I let go of Kara and turn around to face her. 
I grab the red padded jacket out of her little hands and place her arms inside  one by one before zipping it up tight.
"Come on then Princess" I smile as I give Kara one more kiss goodbye and place a gentle kiss on Isaac's head before I lift Bryn into my arms and we leave the apartment.

I decided to take Bryn to another shopping centre since the one we went to earlier is further away and didn't have many clothes shops inside.
As I parked up, I could see Bryn's eyes light up.
"Daddy, we here?" she asked.
"Yes Princess, we are here" I chuckle.
I open her door carefully before I unbuckle her from her car seat and lift her out slowly, making sure I don't hit her head or the car next to us. I shut the car door and lock it before walking towards the elevator that would take us to the shop entrance doors.
"Daddy?" she asks.
"What is it, Princess? I ask as I walk out of the elevator doors and into the shopping centre itself.
"Can I walk?" she asks politely.
"Umm... Okay but I don't let go of my hand otherwise you will get lost' I demand.
"Okay," she says excitedly as I put her on her feet and grip onto her hand tightly as we walk through the long, huge, glass corridor.
"What about in there?" I asks.
"Okay" she replies as I point to a clothes shop that I can't even pronounce.
""Oh... Daddy look," Bryn says as she drags me towards a white dress with a lace t-shirt.
"They have your size so why don't we hold it and we can try it on later okay," I suggest to her as we walk a bit further around the store.
"What about this one Bryn?" I ask as I point to a dress with a white t-shirt and a dark blue skirt with pink flowers.
"That Pretty Daddy" she .
"Okay, I will hold on to it for later" I chuckle as I take the dress off the rack and wrap it around my free arm.
"Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, look!" Bryn shouts as she spots a white dress covered with gold and black stars with a black belt.
"Oh, princess that's beautiful," I say as I grab that dress off the rack too.
" Please Daddy, get dressed?" she begs jumping up and down in excitement.
"Okay, come on them" I laugh as I drag her towards the changing rooms.
"Hello, are hoping to try on those on?" a woman asks at the entrance of the changing rooms.
"Yes," I reply as I pass her the dresses so that she can scan them.
"Here you go, enjoy," she says happily as we thank her and walk into the little corridor covered in doors.
"Now Bryn we need to find a door with a green lock not a red lock okay," I tell her as we search through the maze of doors.
"Here's one" she jumps as she runs towards it and stands in front of the empty room.
"Come on then," I say as we walk in and I lock the door behind me.
The room is like a little wooden booth. It has clothes hangers on the door and a little chair in the corner for parents.
"Daddy, help ?" Bryn asks me.
"Of course Princess," I say as I help her strip down and I pull the first dress over her head.
The first dress she tried on was the white and dark blue floral dress.

"Give us a twirl then," I say as she turns around in the dress.
The dress looks beautiful on her.
"You look like a beautiful princess," I tell her as she giggles and tries to pull it over her head.
Next dress is the white starry dress.

"Daddy, me pretty!" Bryn squealed with excitement.
"Yes you are Madame," I say as I bow to her, making her laugh.
"Daddy stop it," she said as she started to calm down.
"So Princess, what dress do you want?" I asked her.
She looks at all the dresses for a couple of minutes. She scrunches her face up as she tries to make a decision between all the dresses.
"Number 1," she says.
"You sure?" I asks.
"Yes please Daddy!" she shouts happily as she starts hopping around happily.
"Okay then, let's get you dressed back into your clothes and buy this dress shall we," I say as I get her changed out of the lace dress.
"Have you made your decision?" the woman at the desk asks as we walk towards her.
"This one" Bryn giggles as lifts the one in her hand.
"That's a very good decision there" she chuckles at the sight of Bryn jumping around.
"Can I please get your dresses so I can scan them to say you have brought them back?" she asked as I gave her the other 2 dresses butBryn unwillingly passes her the dress she wanted.
"Here you go, one beautiful dress," the woman says as she passes Bryn her dress back. "Just head over to the till and pay for it there".
"Okay!" Bryn yells as she grabs my hand and drags me towards the till.
"Thank you!" she squeals as she was passed the dress in a little bag by the man at the counter.
"No problem Princess," I say as I duck down next to her and she places a kiss on my lips.
"I love you," I tell her with a grin.
"Love you Daddy" she smiles.
"Let's go home to Mommy and Isaac," I say as I pull her into my arms and stand back up, walking us back towards to the car.
