Swimming And Sliding

"Come on Kara, It can't really take you this long to get changed into your swimming costume" Mon el moans impatiently as he leans against the empty lockers.
"Mon el just give me a minute!" Kara yells from inside the cubicle opposite Mon-el.
Kara unlocks her cubicle and walks out into the long hallway with lockers filling the right wall and cubicle doors covering the left.
"Which locker is ours?" Kara asks as she picks up her shoes and bag from the bench inside the cubicle.
"Umm... This... No this one..." Mon-el stutters as he points to one of the lockers behind him.
Kara stuffs her bag and shoes into the little space left and locks it with her wristband before turning around to face Mon el who is still staring at her.
"Mon el... Earth to Mon el?" she asks as she wafts a hand near his face, instantly waking him up from his daydream.
"Let's go," he says as he grabs her hands and starts to walk forward but Kara stands in front of him to block his path.
"What's wrong?" she asks as she places her hands on his bare chest.
"Have I ever told you how gorgeous you look?" Mon-el asks with a smile.
"Yes all the time, why?" she asks as she smiles brightly up at him.
"Well it will never be enough" he replies with a smile before placing a kiss on her lips gripping her hand as they start walking down the corridor, towards the showers and then further along, the pool.

"Alex sent me a text 10 minutes ago saying that we are in Cabana number 5. She has sent me a picture of the map they were given when they arrived" Kara reads from her phone.
Hand in hand they walk along the 2 large pools until they find an open cafe. They walk through the tables to the end and up the stairs until they see the pool and sauna. They follow Alex's instructions to a ‘T’ until they finally arrive outside a little wooden hut.
Mon-el opens the door to reveal a circular room with cushioned benches covering the sides and beanbags in the middle for the kids and a flat-screen TV with a couple of kids channels that we could watch.
"Mommy! Daddy!" Bryn yells as she jumps off her bean bag and runs into Kara's arms.
"You made it!" Alex yells excitedly.
"Of course we did, we wouldn't miss this for the world" Mon el laughs as he pushes past Kara and takes a seat on one of the benches next to Eliza.

-Kara's POV-

"I got some pictures from their swimming lessons this morning," Alex says as I let Bryn sit back down on her beanbag.
I take a seat next to Alex as she pulls her phone out of her bag and shows me multiple pictures taken by Eliza. The best picture is of Bryn swimming in the water next to Alex who has Isaac on her lap as he throws his arms in the water.
"It looks like they had fun" I smile.
"Right it's 10:15 and we have to be out of here by 1. Then we have to get back to the lodge, have lunch and then get dressed up for the photographer later on. We better get playing" Eliza says enthusiastically as we all stand up and pile out of the Cabana.
"What first?" I ask as we all gather up.
"Rapids?" Bryn asks as she stands next to me and holds my hand.
"I don't see why not" I agree and Bryn squeals happily.
"I don't think it will be a good idea to take Isaac into the rapids so how about you guys go into the rapids and you can meet us at the kids’ pool afterwards" Mon el suggests as he places a kiss on Isaac's head, making Isaac grin happily.
"I will go with you Mon el because I am not keen on the rapids," Eliza says.
"Okay sure" I smile.
I place a kiss on Mon el's lips before being dragged off by Bryn who is running after Alex who started walking ahead.
"Auntie Alex!?" Bryn yells as we try to find her in amongst the crowd of people gathered around the upstairs pool.
We see a hand wave from the back of the crowd and as we push our way through the crowd, I see Alex waiting at the top of the stairs.
"Let's go!" Alex yells excitedly as we walk down the stairs and towards the 2 large wave pools.
I pick Bryn up as we wade through the right-hand side wave pool and under a bridge that takes us towards the rapids.
"Right Bryn, you have to hold on to Mommy or Auntie Alex at all times okay because you can't swim and it is very fast" I explain sternly before I meet Alex on the other side of the string that separates the normal pool from the rapids.
"I promise," Bryn says quickly as she tries to jump out of my arms into Alex's.
I pass her over to Alex before I duck underwater and swim under the rope and stand back up when I am on the other side.
"Let's go!" Bryn screams as we battle through the outer water current until we are inside the rapids.
Alex passes Bryn back before swimming ahead and I walk around slower as I hold Bryn's stomach so she kicks her legs almost like she is swimming.
