Family Wonderland Walks #1

"Dinner time!" Eliza shouts as we all run towards the origin of the delightful scent that was wafting around the house.
"Dinner!" Bryn laughs as she walks down the stairs, holding Kara's hand tightly so that she doesn't fall.
Mon-el places Isaac in the high chair provided while he starts to tuck in.
"This is amazing Eliza" Mon el moans as he stuffs another fork full of pasta in his mouth.
"Thank you Mon-el," Eliza says delightfully.
"Hey!" Alex jabs in once she has finished her mouth full.
"I helped too," She says as she tries to act annoyed but it doesn't last long before she is laughing once again.
"Yeah yeah, I bet you just watched" Kara mocks as Alex gives her a fake glare.
Bryn sits quietly eating her small bowl of pasta as she watches the adults pass around polite conversation.
"That definitely filled a hole" Mon el sighs happily as he gets up off his seat and walks into the kitchen. He places his bowl in the sink before raiding the cupboards for baby food and taking a seat again.
As everyone else finished off their meal, Mon-el took it upon himself to feed Isaac and once they had finished, everyone else was just finishing their meal too.
"I will wash up," Kara says quickly as she walks quickly towards the kitchen.
"No you will not, Kara I will do the washing up" Eliza insists as she walks towards the sink.
"But you made dinner" Kara tries to object but Eliza wouldn't have it and made her watch TV with Isaac instead.
While Number Jack's played on the TV and the adults scattered into different rooms, Bryn walks up to the patio doors and looks out towards the trees that were becoming dark and gloomy as night came closer.
"What's out there?" She asks no one in particular as she points out the window.
"Lots of trees and animals I think" Kara responds as she watches Bryn stick her face up to the window as she tries to see everything clearer.
"There are no animals" she states disappointedly.
"Well they are probably sleeping in the trees baby" Kara explains as she tries to be convincing.
"Okay," she replies as she cuddles up next to Kara and Isaac as they watch number 5 save the day on the television.

"How about we go out for a walk?" Mon-el asks as he walks loudly down the stairs, making everyone jump.
"It's already half past 7" Kara states from the couch.
"I hear there are Christmas lights everywhere. We should see them while it's dark" Alex says excitedly as she walks in from her bedroom.
"Come on Kara. Why not? We are on holiday after all" Eliza says as she tries to persuade Kara.
"Fine" Kara says as she gives up with a smile. "Let's get your shoes on then".
Kara runs upstairs with Isaac as she grabs his white fluffy raincoat and his dark blue welly boots.
She quickly grabs her own trainers and jacket before running downstairs where everyone else is ready to go.
"Where's the pushchair?" Kara asks as she searches the front porch for it.
"It's in our room for now but I can use the front carrier for now. We will not be out for that long and we don't need to take anything with us" Mon el suggests as he pulls it out of a bag in the corner of the porch and straps it on tightly with the help of Eliza.
Kara carefully tucks Isaac inside and tightens it further until he is snug and secure inside.
"Go go go!" Bryn screams excitedly as Alex opens the door and they all walk out into the cold fresh forest air.
They walk along their street of houses before turning off down a yellow brick path towards the Village centre.
The trees on either side of the path are wrapped from trunk to branch in little white fairy lights. 
"This is so magical," Eliza says in awe as their jaws drop at the sight ahead of them.
"Mommy, Daddy look!" Bryn yells as she tries to run ahead but Alex's grip on her hand prevents her from going far.
They all walk along the path in a line and Bryn grips onto Kara's hand as well.
They walk through the centre doors and are amazed once again.
The Village centre is a huge glass dome with shops and restaurants inside. At the entrance is the kids’ den where they hold a lot of activities like hair braiding and face painting for young kids. In front of the door is a beautiful, tall Christmas tree, covered in lights with a mechanical reindeer that talks and moves around.
Bryn drags Alex and Kara towards the reindeer that is now still as she watches it with awe and amazement.
Mon-el and Eliza catch up and Mon-el presses the button that activates the Reindeer.
"Hello, my names Rudolph..." it starts as it starts babbling about having a cold.
Bryn holds on to the bars as tight as she can as she tries her best to get as close to the reindeer as possible but Isaac doesn't have the same sort of feelings about the talking statue.
Isaac's bottom lip drops as the reindeer starts to sing and he starts crying.
Mon-el tries to rock him from side to side but it doesn't calm him down, it just makes him worse so Mon-el and Kara walk ahead as Eliza and Alex stay behind with Bryn.
Mon-el and Kara walk along a bridge in the middle of the centre, hand in hand as they look up at the Christmas decorations hanging from the roof of the dome and the little moving elves that are dressed up around the centre.
There was even one next to the tiny river that was dressed up in a builders uniform.
As they walked off the small bridge, they walked past Huck's the restaurant and turned the corner away from the front doors and towards the toy shop and sweet shop that was already closed.
They walked past the swimming pool entrance and towards the bowling alley entrance. 
They walked through the bar and the kids’ soft play and towards the arcade.
"Oh my gosh, I remember coming to arcades with Alex when we were younger," Kara says as she pulls Mon el towards the entrance.
Inside are hundreds of machines all laid out differently.
As Kara guides Mon el through the maze of beeping machines.
