-Mon El's POV-

"Right Mommy you're up first," I say happily as I sit on the uncomfortable dark blue couch next to the Bowling Alley with Bryn on my lap as I help her velcro her shoes on.
"Yes!" Kara exclaims excitedly as she jumps up and goes to grab a ball.
"What's Mommy doing?" Bryn asks curiously as she watches Kara pick up every ball to see which one is the best weight for her.
"Mommy is choosing what ball she wants to bowl with" I explain as I stick on her last shoe.
Kara finally decides on her ball and gets ready to ball. She bends her back leg before rolling it along the floor and letting go.
We watch enthusiastically as we wait to see where the ball ends up.
The ball starts to waver to the left and then to the right but just as it hits the pins, it moves to the middle and knocks down all but 2.
"Yes!" Kara screams happily as she jumps up and down.
She rolls again but misses both of the last standing pins.
"How did you become so good at Bowling, you used to be the worse" Alex pretends to sulk.
"Remember when I created a dent in the floor because I threw the ball" Kara laughs as she sits next to me and nuzzles her head in my shoulder.
"Oh yeah, Mom you had to say that you threw the ball a bit to hard because they would have never believed that a 12-year-old could make such a dent" Alex laughs hysterically.
"Yes, they still looked at me weirdly" Eliza chuckled as we all look up at the screen to see who is next to play.
"Bryn your up next," I say happily as I stand up with her in my arms.
I pull the kids’ frame from the side to the front of the Alley before guiding her towards the balls.
"Right for you, we need to have a light one so you can choose between a green one and a pink one?" I ask Bryn as she looks at them curiously.
"Pink!" she exclaims as she throws her arms in the air.
"I knew it" I laugh as I take her hand and I guide her back to the frame.
I place the ball on the top and I pick her up so that she can reach the ball.
"Right Bryn all you have to do is give the ball a big strong push okay," I tell her.
"Okay," she answers as she brings her arms forward and pushes the ball causing it to roll down the frame and on to the Alley.
She did very well because it hit close to the centre causing all but 1 to fall over.
"Oh my gosh Byrn, you did it!" I exclaim happily as I pull her into my arms and she giggles at the gesture.
"I am winning!" she laughs as I put her back down and she runs to Kara.
"Mon el are you next?" Kara asks as she lifts Bryn on to the couch next to her.
"Yeah" I reply as I pull the frame away.
I pick up a ball and I try to copy Kara's stance. I place my right leg behind my left and I pull the ball backwards in my right arm. I pull my arm forward and let go of the ball and it lands on the Alley and continues to roll. It starts off in the centre but curves too far to the left and hits the edge of the Alley.
"Damn!" I yell.
"Damn! Damn! Damn!" Bryn shouts in between giggles.
"Mon el!" Kara yells causing Alex to laugh.
"Sorry" I reply as I pull Bryn off her lap and I walk away from the others.
I kneel to her level and she is still laughing.
"Bryn that is a bad word, You shouldn't say that. Daddy was bad for saying it" I explain seriously.
"Okay," she replies sadly as she stops laughing and looks down at her shoes.
"Come here," I say as I pull her towards me, wrapping my arms around her and she places her head on my shoulder.
A scream comes from the Alley and I look up quickly to find Alex jumping up and down happily with a grin covering her face.
"I bet you, I bet you Kara haha" Alex screams as Kara watches from the couch, unimpressed.
"So you got them all, you might never get that again" Kara points out cockily.
"Yeah yeah Kara, you're just jealous" Alex grins as Eliza goes to have her turn.
"I am not!" Kara says angrily as Alex pokes her side.
"You so are" Alex smiles.
"Stop!" Bryn yells as she runs up and stands between them.
"Yeah, guys seriously," I say mockingly as I stand back up on to my feet.
"Haha Kara you're kid just got you in trouble" Alex laughs.
"You too!" Bryn blurts out which surprises us all.
"Yeah, Alex you too" Kara smiles as she lifts Bryn into her arms.
"You both just got told by a Toddler" Eliza chuckles as she sits back down.
"No we didn't" Alex and Kara say in unison as they both headed off in different directions.
"Mon el you better learn from this. It doesn't get any better the older they get" Eliza laughs as she watches Kara and Alex.
"Yeah, I'm looking forward to it," I say sarcastically as a small smile creeps onto my face.
