"What's happening?" Hiro asked as Kaname stood near the door.
More people than he could count were outside, blood filling his nose.
Yuki clung to him, shaking.
"Where's mother and father?" He asked again.
Kaname still didn't speak, lost in thought.
Hiro frowned, calling for his brother.
The door opened, their mother walking in.
She looked at Kaname, silence passing between the two of them.
But he understood.
He furrowed his eyebrows, closing his eyes and nodding.
"Mother, something bad is happening!" Yuki said, running towards her.
"I know. Don't worry, everything will be alright." She looked at Hiro, smiling.
She mouthed three words, before leaving the room with Yuki.
"Mother, mother, wait-" Kaname held him back.
The door locked, and he turned to Kaname.
"Let go! Kaname! Where is she going!? Tell me!"
"They'll be fine, Hiro... But you need to stay here."
"You're lying!" He then froze. "Father..."
Haruka's blood filled the air, and Kaname frowned.
"Don't leave the house."
"But-"
"HIRO. Do not leave the house. Do you understand?"
Hiro nodded in defeat.
Kaname left the room, and Hiro watched as the door closed again.
More blood was spilled as he waited.
But after twenty minutes, he didn't sense his mother anymore.
Or Yuki.
He tried to run out the room, but it was locked.
He banged against it, but it wouldn't budge.
He knew Kaname had done something to make sure it stayed shut.
And he wasn't good at using his strength.
He stumbled around the room, trying to find something-anything that would set him free.
But he was stuck.
Stuck waiting while everyone else was gone.
His parent's blood wafted through the air, his eyes widening.
He screamed, frustration and fear taking over.
The door ripped to shreds like paper, and he ran through the halls, calling for his family.
But no one heard him.
No one replied.
He checked the rooms, all of them empty.
Except one.
He froze when he saw Yuki asleep in her mother's arms.
Her eyes bled, and she was barely there.
"...Hiro." She whispered. More red tears fell.
He ran over, kneeling beside her.
"Mother!" His eyes watered as she placed her hand on his face.
