"He's gone." Takuma said hopelessly as he sat on the bench.
Senri stood beside him, arms folded. "He said he'd be here."
"Maybe he got lost." Rima said, looking to both of them. "He wouldn't break a promise."
The three of them looked at one another.
"We should go find him." Takuma looked towards the sky, the clouds rushing over the sky.
"Yeah. Okay."

Hiro mumbled a curse, completely irritated.
He had no idea where he was.
And he was sure he was being followed.
Vampire Hunters.
How great.
He had salvaged enough money (he found a wishing well-which is where people left their money-technically, not stealing) and had gone into a restaurant. The guy behind the counter gave him an annoyed glare as he counted out the coins.
He had gotten a milkshake with vanilla wafers.
He had now gained a sweet tooth, thanks to Senri.
The place was pretty empty, with it being late in the evening.
He had asked for his meal and a road map, a pencil in hand as he tapped it against the table.
It was the only sound in the place, besides the soft music. It was just Hiro and the hunters that followed him in. They had ordered coffee, which Hiro found despairingly boring. They weren't even trying to blend in.
He circled places he recognized and tried to back track from there.
He has promised Rima and Senri one last time to hang out. And now he had gotten lost by wandering off in the night because of a bad dream.
As true and idiotic as it were, he doubted they'd believe him. And if they did believe him, they'd think he was an idiot.
There was no way to win.
But it wasn't his fault, he had never really been outside before, this world was too big.
His sighed, slumping as he circled another place.
Wherever he was, it was way too big.
He heard a chair being scratched against the metal flooring, but didn't look up as he was starting to figure out where to go.
He saw the train track, and smiled as he circled it. He moved to pencil up and realized the town was only a few miles ahead, and he'd been mostly going around in circles.
...this was so unfair.
If he just went north from here, he'd be back in town before midnight.
"Hey, kid."
Hiro looked up, straw in his mouth. He paused, realizing it was the hunter from the other table. He had pulled up a chair.
The two of them looked at the map.
Hiro quickly folded it, putting it in his pocket.
"Woah, what's the hurry? You lost? It's pretty dangerous to be out so late." The hunter said with a laugh.
Hiro didn't answer, putting the map away in his pocket.
