Zero watched Yuki skip down the stairs, Yori close behind.
"Zero!" Yuki said with a pointed finger, a frown on her face. "You skipped class today!" She scolded.
He rolled his eyes, placing both hands in his pockets as she demanded he give her an explanation and stop ignoring her.
He couldn't help but be amused by her annoyed face. She stuck her tongue out at him, dragging him along.
He pretended he didn't notice the Night Class lurking around, watching them. They stayed out of sight, but he couldn't shake the uneasy feeling as if something were going to happen real soon...
He grimaced, his mind going back to what Ichiru had told him.
How could he attend class, anyway?
"A curse?"
Ichiru nodded, pointing to his right eye. "It's only a matter of time 'til he sees you as nothing more than food."
"Zero?" Yori asked.
He looked up, looking to the two girls before him.
"Hn?" He asked.
"There's someone who wants to see you." She said with an amused smile.
Hiro stood alone in the grass, eyes on Zero.
Zero, on the other hand, was far to deep in thought. He started at Hiro, eyes narrowing with each passing question.
What else was he hiding?
Hiro walked over.
"Hello." He said, greeting them. "Can I talk to Yuki a moment?"
"Me?" Yuki asked, pointing to herself.
"I have a small favor..." He responded, whispering in her ear.
"I actually have something I need to talk to you about, Hiro."
Surprised, Hiro nodded slowly. "I'll ask next time."
"Oh, okay..." She said, watching the two of them walk off.
"Let's go."
Nothing is said as they walk, finding a spot with no prying eyes. They say nothing, too much on their minds.
"What's wrong?" Hiro asked, eyebrows turning downward. He seemed worried for Zero, confused by his sudden attitude.
Zero blinked, realizing he was wearing obvious suspicion on his face. He quickly sighed, a grumble leaving him.
But Hiro had already noticed, and he took Zero's hand, leading him a bit far from anyone that may be close by.
Zero let him, and they found themselves behind the building and off the pathway of the campus.
Hiro turned to Zero, finally letting his hand go.
"Did something happen?" Hiro asked with a glance around, checking to see if anyone had followed.
Zero could only stare.
"You're worried." Zero ended up saying aloud.
"About me."Hiro gave him a blush, more of a pout, honestly. He looked like he wanted to deny it, but he couldn't.
