Hiro raised an eyebrow.

"Night Class?" Hiro asked Senri, who was sitting on the swings of the playground.

Senri nodded. "Yeah. But on weekends we're free to go to town and be back before curfew. That's why Takuma couldn't come, since he had to help out the class president."

They looked to Rima, who was swinging on the seats with a bored look.

Hiro nodded, swinging his legs back and forth.

"Is it fun? School?" He asked.

Rima looked up at the cloudy sky. "It's... interesting." She answered, looking over to him. "It's kinda boring?"

"Haven't you been to school?" Senri asked. He had a feeling he wasn't exactly well off, or at least a vagabond of some sort.

Hiro shook his head with a quiet sigh. "No, I don't think I have..." He looked at his feet, which hung above the ground with a gentle sway from the swing.

"Why not join our school?"

He looked to Senri, who stared back at him with low eyes.

"But I...don't have money or anything else." Hiro glanced to the floor. "And I don't think it'd be safe."

Besides, even if Hiro traveled farther, Rido would always find him.

The bastard has never broken a promise.

He'd walked train tracks and forests, towns and villages. Rido's servants always found him.

...maybe if he crossed an ocean, he'd be far enough.

He had always wanted to see one. A myriad of blue waters with life swimming below.

"I'm sure the headmaster can help you. He's nice, if not a pushover." Rima smiled, jumping out of the swing. "And our school is safe."

She landed on the ground perfectly. She walked over to Hiro, placing two hands on the metal swing chains.

He looked up at her, blinking.

"What's wrong?" Senri asked.

Hiro shook his head. "I...I don't think I should."

"Why not?" Rima raised an eyebrow in concern.

He wanted to find his family.

He wanted to be safe.

He wanted to...see the world.

He wanted to have a normal life.

And school...

He'd love to go. He'd like to pretend to be normal, even if it were only for a second. He didn't been know Vampires attended actual schools and classes, ate human food and hung out.

It was...so new and amazing to him.

"If we talk to the class president, I'm sure we can figure something out." Senri said, placing a hand on his chin.

"That's fine. I'm not school material anyway." He said, getting up form the swing and dusting his clothes off.

He needed to find new ones.

"You should at least try." Rima said, placing a hand on his shoulder. "And...if it doesn't work out, you won't be forced to stay."

He looked into her eyes.

"I..." He trailed off.

"I'm going to guess you don't have any family, or at least, anyone to support you." Senri said, standing up from his swing and walking over. He stood in front of Hiro, folding his arms. "You've worn the same clothes since we met, and you don't have any money. You're alone, aren't you?" He asked.

Hiro didn't answer, eyebrows furrowed.

"It'd be better then wandering around the town." Senri added with a soft voice.

"We can ask Takuma to vouch for him, too." Rima turned to Senri. "Get him a scholarship."

Senri nodded. "Yeah."

"The class president night also let him stay." Rima places a hand on her hip. "He could bunk with you or one of the empty rooms."

"He could pass for a girl, and stay with you." Senri smiled a bit at Rima's frown.

Hiro sweatdropped.

They were already planning it out...

"Guys, seriously. It's fine. I'm not planning on staying much longer, anyway." He waved both hands up.

They snapped their heads back to him.

"...where will you go?"

Hiro scratched his head with a nervous smile. "I haven't figured it out yet. But..." his face grew serious. "I can't stay here."

Senri looked to Rima, who frowned slightly.

"Why not?" Senri moves forward.

Hiro didn't answer, eyes dimming.

"Hiro, why not?" Rima asked.

She wanted answers. This person they'd come to know, what kind of secrets were they holding? Were they in danger? Were they alright?

Senri placed a hand on her shoulder, stopping her.

"Okay. Sorry if we pushed too hard. But before you leave, we should hang out one last time." Senri suggested.

Hiro blinked, before smiling. "Okay..."
