Kaname waited for an answer.
Hiro said nothing, watching Kaname's eyes. They were blank, devoid of feeling as he stood there.
But Hiro could sense his anger. No matter how hard he tried to bury it, it was there.
Zero looked at the both of them, frowning deeply as he turned back to Hiro.
"He's going to kill me." He says to Zero with a smirk, never taking his eyes off his brother.
Zero couldn't let that happen.
He hated Kaname. It was obvious and it was something that would never go away, because he saw through Kaname's kindness.
But he loved Hiro.
And Kaname didn't deserve Hiro's love. At least, he thought so. A bit selfish, but he couldn't ignore the loops in their family history...and just how much Hiro suffered without Kaname by his side.
Zero couldn't forgive himself for Ichiru, but he knew Hiro loved his brother.
Too much.
So, he wouldn't have Kaname kill his own brother, or vice versa.
He didn't want them to fight.
He knew the pain.
And he knew how much Hiro meant to Kaname.
To his surprise, Hiro hugged him tightly, face hidden in Zero's chest. Zero held onto him, but kept a tighter grip on his gun, an idea rising in his mind.
He looked to Kaname, who stared back with hidden frustration.
"He'a dangerous, Kiryu. Don't let him fool you." Kaname explained.
He didn't know if that was jealousy or genuine care, but he wasn't going to listen. If he stepped away now, they would only fight.
And two Purebloods fighting right now, especially two Kurans, has to be avoided with all the students still on campus.
Swiftly, he pointed his gun at Kaname, shooting three bullets and moving quickly.
The noise rang through the air, everyone looking at the barrel of the gun. The bullets flew out easily, flying through the air.
While dodging, Kaname noticed Zero was trying to distract Hiro, using the gun to hit him against the head, using all his strength to knock him out.
Bloody Rose broke.
He went limp against Zero, who held him up with little issue.
Kaname raced over, unseen by normal eyes as he was by Zero's side in seconds. He sealed Hiro's eyes with a wave of his hand.
Hiro was already waking up, but he soon closed them again. Kaname used all his of strength, watching as Hiro went limp against him.
He looked like he was sleeping.
Zero made no sound as he stepped back.
They stared at one another.
"...he's going to wake up soon, we only have a couple minutes to make sure he's not a threat."
Kaname moved closer, stopping when Zero aimed the remaining gun at him.
