"Not feeding the rabbits today?" Zero asked, watching Hiro stumble out of the bush.

Hiro grimaced, rusting his hands off.

"...I left the food there." He said quietly. "Just in case."

"Head back to your dorm." Zero looked at the sky.

Hiro nodded, surprising Zero with his sudden cooperation.

"...aren't you going to go see the sun rise?" He was curious to know what the motive was.

Hiro looked over to him, blinking with wide eyes. He then smiled, excited as he walked back over to Zero. "Do you want to?"

Zero stared at him, scowling.

Zero raised an eyebrow at him.

"Be his guide!", suddenly rang into his head.

"What happened?" Hiro asked, stepping forward. "You look pale..."

Zero pushed him back, glaring. "Go. Back."

Hiro flinched, hands going into his pockets as he frowned. Zero seemed to be in a bad mood. He didn't want to anger the guardian any further...

Hiro turned around and started walking. "I'm heading back then."  He slumped slightly and gloomily headed back to the Moon Dorms.

Zero, watched him leave. Well...he didn't care for the guy, anyway.

He was busy with his own issues:

Yuki kept pestering him about drinking enough blood. She was willingly giving hers away, but it was hard for Zero to face her every time his fangs left her neck.

And that bastard Kuran is dicking around as usual, since the headmaster listened to whatever he said because Cross was an idiot. He tried to get Zero into the Night Class, as if that would help.

And now, Hiro was sneaking out of his dorms every chance he got after class.

"Wait!"

Zero turned around.

And here comes the runaway mosquito.

Hiro stopped right in front of him, eyes staring straight into his lavender orbs.

"...Are you perhaps...thirsty?" Hiro asked.

Zero narrowed his eyes. He gripped the collar of the Pureblood, leaning down with a darkened frown.

"That's none of your business."

Hiro didn't seem to have an answer. Oddly enough, he seemed truly perturbed by the status of Zero's hunger.

Zero sighed, annoyed.

"...you can have mine if it's so bad."

Zero glared at him. Was he joking?

He looked genuinely concerned.

He wasn't doing this.

"Fuck off." He turned to walk away, but Hiro moved in front of him.

Persistent.

Zero internally groaned. He could just take his gun out and just...

Hiro furrowed his eyebrows.

"...It-" he paused, looking for the right words to say. "...Starving yourself only leads to bad things."

Zero walked on, pushing past him.

"Get back to your dorm." His words were full of so much rage it came out calm, almost empty and chilling.

Hiro gripped his arm, leading him away.
