Yuki woke up screaming, tears pouring from her eyes.
Hiro woke up, falling off his bed and running to the door.
But he stopped when he reached for the doorknob.
Instead, he stood near his door, listening as his parents rushed to her room, calming her down.
He felt guilty.
Like he was at fault for fears.
He walked towards the mirror, icy blue and wine red eyes staring back at him.
He covered his left eye, looking at himself, frowning.
It wasn't the same...
"Hiro."
He didn't hear Kaname come in, watching him closely.
"Brother..."
Kaname furrowed his eyebrow, walking over to him.
He hugged him tightly, understanding his feelings.
"It isn't your fault..."
Hiro clung to him, wanting to believe his words.
He fell asleep, Kaname patting his head until he closed his eyes.
He knew Rido was playing tricks on Yuki, ans Hiro was almost an exact replica of him appearance wise.
If not for his kind heart, he wouldn't know the difference.
Kaname couldn't tell him about Rido, not yet.
But he sensed something was changing inside of Hiro, it was a faint feeling, but it was there.
Growing quickly.

It was raining heavily outside.
Hiro enjoyed this weather, he and Yuki going to play in puddles and listening to the rain as it meet the Earth's floor.
But Yuki wasn't feeling so well, so his mother would spend the day watching her.
She had eaten too much, and it affected her badly.
His father and brother left for a meeting, and wouldn't be coming back until tomorrow.
So he read by the window in his room, alone once again.
He was reading about a young girl with amazing abilities. Like him, she read a lot and liked to learn.
Her name was Matilda, and this was his favorite book so far.
"Hiro~"
He looked up, his mother walking in.
"Are you alright? You're so quiet."
"Yes... Is Yuki feeling better?" He asked.
His mother gave him a smile, nodding.
"She'll be just fine. Just fell asleep Little fatty ate too many blood paclets." His mother joked.
He knew it was wrong, but they laughed a little.
"What are you reading?"
He handed her the book, and she looked at the cover, skimming through pages.
"I used to love this book!" She told him. "I'm so glad our son has a good taste in books, unlike your father. All he reads now are the comics in the newspaper."
She turned back to the page he was on, moving closer.
"Can you read it to me? I'm a bit exhausted."
He nodded, and they sat near the window, reading a good book.
After a few chapters, his mother fell asleep as well, and he covered her before going to check on Yuki.
They were both asleep, and he went back to finish his book.
But he stopped again.
The whispers came back, a bit louder this time.
Turning around, he saw the shadow again.
It's eyes were icy blue and glowing, freezing him in place.
His left eye began to throb, tears falling from it.
The whispers grew louder, more tears faling and turning red.
The shadow reached for him, screaming as it covered him, spinning around him.
He couldn't breathe.
Air was being pushed into him, but he couldn't push it back out.
His lungs were filling with up and something that felt like fire.
He was dying.
He was dying and burning and drowning.
And the shadow disappeared, dropping him to the floor.
He coughed heavily, breathing in and out.
Hiro looked around, eyes wide and he got up.
He scanned the halls, before coughing harshly.
He touched his eyes, blood on his hands.
"...Gin." He whispered.
It's name was Gin.
And it was going to kill him if he didn't do what it wanted.
He didn't know what, but...
He had a horrible feeling in his gut.
