Monique's POV

"There's a pre-party for the fashion week and the Calligaris will be there."

Alex informed me while he's doing his bench press. Tinapos ko ang pangatlong set ng crunches ko bago ako bumaling sa direksyon niya.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked him with my furrowed brows. He stopped to what he was doing. Maybe tapos na din siya.

"Because I know that you won't agree." I just raised my eyebrows at him.

"I consulted our parents regarding this matter and they agreed." He continued at tumayo. He's leading his way to the barbels.

"It is supposed to be an after-party." I said still looking at him. Tumayo na din ako para kumuha ng steel pole.

"The party is set already and it's going to be tonight. A night before the night of the fashion show. Besides, today is a part of the fashion week. Wag ka ngang kuripot." He said as he lifted the barbel.

I rolled my eyes upward. Kaya pala ang aga niyang pumunta dito sa unit ko with that box.

"You better check your gown na dinala ko kanina sa loob ng box. Di mo man lang binigyang pansin yun." He said at naglift ng barbel. I dunno kung ilang pounds ang buhat niya pero medyo mabigat din. My brother is one ultimate fitness freak.

"Drooling over me Alex? Are you imagining na ako si Ares?" He asked grinning.

"Yuck for Pete's sake!" I said. Yuck! Drool? Ares? Mamatay man ang kuko niya, never! Tsss. Ilang araw na din palang di kami nagkikita after the incident that night. Di rin siya nagpaparamdam, kahit text wala. Tsk! O baka sumuko na siya? Dumbass. Kung naman niya kayang panindigan, huwag na sanang susugod sa labang pag-ibig ang tawag. Wait, what did I just say? Pag-ibig? Dang!

"Magkanya-kanya nalang tayong punta mamaya sa venue. Be on time, okay?" Sabi ni Matthew habang patuloy sa ginagawa niya at ganoon din ako.

"Okay." Simpleng sagot ko at bumuntong hininga.

Magkikita kami ulit mamayang gabi. Paano na to? Haist! Huwag munang isipin ang mga bagay na hindi pa nangyayari kasi nakakastress.😑

Patuloy lang kami ni Alex sa aming work out. Nakaugalian na to namin. We always find time to exercise for endorphins. Aside from being fit, we need happy hormones to keep the positivity in life. Exercise gives endorphins and endorphins turn us to happy people. That is why I still have this happiness inside me kahit seryoso lang akong tignan.

Nang matapos na kami ni Alex, he immediately went off to see his girl friend. He said he's going to bring her to the party at ipapakilala sa parents namin. I wonder if he met her parents already? Kasi diba dapat ganun? Mas mauunang makilala ng lalake ang parents ng babae kesa sa makilala ng babae ang parents ng lalake? I don't know. But for me, it should be that way. I don't know with the others. My day went well, pumunta ako ng office to secure stuffs. Alex is still in charge and babalik na soon sina Mama at Papa sa company. Nagleave nga din sila pero may business transactions pa rin silang inaayos sa ibang bansa which hindi pa nila namention sa akin ni Alex ang tungkol doon.

Umuwi ako kaagad dito sa unit ko para makapag ayos for the party. Binuksan ko ang box na kanina ay bitbit niya. Sana ay pinadala niya nalang sa ibang tao. Siya ata tong mas kuripot kesa sa akin eh. Naligo ako at diretsong umupo sa harap ng vanity mirror ko to dry up my hair. I just put on some light make up and let my hair fall into its natural waves. Sinuot ko ang damit na dala ni Alex. It's a classic, black, strapless velvet dress revealing my back and my cleave in front due to its cut. It was showered with gold Swarovski all over its serpentina cut plus its long slit that made it to show my natural curves. Not boasting, just saying.
