Lorie's POV
Dumating si Ares sa AMC SL Building just in time. He parked his Ferrari sa kanyang personal parking space. Merong signage na nakalagay ang "Reserved for AMC". Siya lang ang pwedeng mag park dito. Lumabas siya sa sasakyan at dumiretso sa elevator papuntang 18th floor kung saan nandoon ang opisina niya. Their building consists of 20 floors. Not to mention that they export good quality shoes. Calligaris shoes is present everywhere. Their brand can offer shoes at a good quality at an affordable price.
He reached the 18th floor at lumabas ng elevator. All the walls are made of transparent glass at makikita talaga si Ares kapag dumadaan siya. Ang mga nagkukwentuhang mga empleyado ay napapabalik sa kani-kanilang trabaho kapag nakikita siya. He may be a player but when it comes to work and to their company, he is one heck of a beast. Strikto siya pagdating sa kumpanya pero his employees admire him. Especially the girls, Ares Martin is one jaw dropping man. His eyes is one perfection and aside from that, he got the body and the brain. What more can you ask for? He is an image of perfection, physically and mentally.
Sinalubong siya ng kanyang EA (Executive Assistant) na si Kathering Hernandez na may ngiti sa bibig nito.
"Good morning Sir." Bati nito kay Ares.
Simpleng tango lang ang itinugon nito sa kanya at pumasok siya sa tinted glass door ng kanyang opisina na may nakadikit na black pallet at mayroong gold engraves na "Chief Executive Officer".
Dumiretso siya sa kanyang table at nakasunod pa rin sa kanya si Katherine.
"Sir, your meeting with the AMC FL was moved to 12 noon." She started.
Natigilan siya at mariing ipinikit ang kanyang mga mata na hindi tumitingin sa EA niya.
"Their Executive Assistant called and said that it is going to be a lunch meeting." Dagdag niya pa.
"Am I free for lunch?" He asked her para makasigurado.
"Yes Sir. We can move your 2PM meeting this 9 in the morning." Suggestion pa ni Katherine.
"Move it and make sure that the client will come on time this morning." He ordered.
"Right away Sir." Pagsang ayon nito at lumabas na ng opisina ni Ares.
Monique's POV
"Monique, you can take a day off again today." Papa said.
Kumakain kami ngayon dito sa poolside ng agahan. Magkasama kaming apat dito.
"Okay lang ba Pa?" I asked him. Kasi kahapon day off ko pero pina rush akong pumunta sa AMC FL para sa walang modo na kliyente. Baka ngayon ganun pa din ang mangyayari.
Tumango siya to affirm.
"Paano po yung kliyente niyo na kameeting niyo ulit?"
"Leave it to me. I already told Jin to make it a lunch meeting with Calligaris." He said.
"Why Alex? Are you interested to that guy because he kissed you?" Tanong ni Alex na may kasamang malisya.
Pinaningkitan ko siya ng mata at nag shrug lang ang loko.
"I'm not even interested on him." Sagot ko sa false accusation niya. Tch.
Gwapo naman talaga siya eh. Maganda ang mata, matalino, maayos manamit, malinis, corporate na corporate ang dating. He really suits to his position as the CEO.
"Pero Pa, why did you move the meeting?" I asked.
"Because it's our family day. Have you forgotten?" He said amused.
"Never namin pong makakalimutan pa pero pwede namang mamayang gabi ah?"
"Kung mamayang gabi pa, baka pagod na kayo nun kaya napag isipan namin ng Papa niyo na ngayong umaga nalang." Explain naman ni Mama.
Tumango lang kami ni Alex. Sabagay mas maganda if ngayong umaga na nga.
Today is our Family Day. Naging tradition na namin ito ng family namin na magkantahan at mag spend time together. Our parents still find time na mabigyan kami ng atensyon though we are old enough. It's like embracing the family that we have. Ang isa't isa lang ang meron kami at yun ang pinanghahawakan namin sa lahat ng oras.
Tapos na din kaming kumain at kinuha ni Papa ang gitara sa tabi niya. Hindi ko nanotice na nandoon pala ang kanyang gitara.
He put his guitar on his lap at nagsimula siyang magtipa.
He started with Am (A minor) and sang the first line.

And he ended the song. That was "Mardy" of Eddie Peregrina. Old songs that reminded me of my younger years. Every now and then, that's Papa's favorite song and that is the song that I first played with my guitar. Alex doesn't have any interest in music but me, I love music. Like I usually say, it helps palcate my soul.
Papa loves Mama so much and to add up is their love team song, "Faithful Love".
Nagsimula ulit si Papa na mag tipa ng gitara at ngayon ay instrumental ng "Faithful Love" na.
I'm happy by looking at my parents. We may not be a perfect family but we have that bond that can never be broken. It is and will always be LOVE.
I smiled when I saw Mama smiling too. Hindi man iyon nakita ni Papa pero alam kong masaya si Mama kahit minsan ay mayroong hindi pagkakaunawaan sila ni Papa.
Mama is very supportive when it comes to us especially to our future. She gives suggestions yet she considers our decisions first. She's always there to guide us, to mold us and to care for us.
Papa on the other hand is strict pero mapagmahal ng sobra. I can still remember when I was little. I used to watch tv in the living room and I would just lay down on the sofa. I usually fall asleep watching television because I was a tv worm back then.
Only then I realize, Papa was carrying me towards my room. I'm awake yet I still play sleep. He'll just put me down on my bed and cover me with my blanket.
Those were the days and till now, he still shows care to us. Leading is to the right path with his wisdom and guidance.
We started our day today as a family and we will end our day as a family. That's what I appreciated the most and that's what I hold in my heart the most.
